Three local idiots discuss Hernadez via Tebow

Thanks all, way better reception than I got at the tgg boards. I wont repeat what they welcomed me with back then as I dont want to be banned for language on my second post.

I will probably go back to my lurking now. Just hate seeing the media A) use tebow just to get clicks, and B) act like they saw this kind of stuff coming.. where was that video 5 weeks ago at mini camp saying how Hernandez was probably going to murder someone because of his lifestyle.. bs.

You don't need to tell us what they said. It's a jest forum, we can probably figure it out.

Honest opinion, whats worse TGG or JI? I've spent some time trolling over at JI and holy ****, I can't really imagine TGG being even worse.

In my experience, at JI, there are some idiots in the asylum. At GGF, the idiots are running the place.

Tim really kept an eye on Aaron while at Florida... Tim was the unquestioned leader... Aaron really looked up to Tim and they were good friends... That's why Aaron for the most part kept his mind ON the field, rather than off it.... I really feel like Brady should have gave Aaron a little more emotional support, knowing Aaron's fragile mentality... It's one of the main parts of being a leader... That's why I believe if The Pats would have signed Tim last season, this whole tragedy may have been avoided... God Bless

Nothing personal, but that's about as large a load of steaming BS as I've heard in a long, long time. Aaron Hernandez is a grown man and was an extremely well-compensated professional. It's not up to Tom Brady or anyone else to babysit Hernandez. The idea that anyone other than AH is responsible for AH's behavior is absurd. Oh, and by the way, with each passing day we get more information and evidence which suggests that AH's mind was less on the field at FL than you suggest. Instead of blaming Brady or anyone else for Hernandez's behavioral shortcomings, perhaps you should have prayed harder for him, or, better yet, for his victims.

I hate to say this, I really do...But it's just something that I've noticed... Is it just me or have all of Hernandez's victims turned out to at least give the impression of a thug or gangsta?.... Could this possibly have just been a bad guy killing other bad guys?... (Like most homicides in America).... Don't get me wrong, it doesn't excuse Aaron's alleged crime at all... But, to me it's just the culture that America has created... You load the inner cities with drugs and guns and say have at it boys.... what you expect to happen?... It's natures natural course IMO... You get in to trouble and want to live the 'thug' life... You end up dead or in prison...Everyone knows that... God Bless

Yeah, Bristol, CT, Gainesville, FL and North Attleborough, MA. Now, those are 3 urban hell-holes.

This is why I lurk.. those are the tebow fans that give us a bad rep.. zero facts, just blind speculation. While I think tebow is a great guy off the field, that has nothing to do with why I am fan, and has nothing to do with Hernandez and his "fragile mentality". Blaming Brady? Wow... why didnt tim help him more at florida?

Did tebow try to help hernandez? There's 1, o n e, documented case... nothing else. Saying anything else is bs.

Edit: obviously I quoted the wrong person, but im on my tablet and its too much work to correct it.

North Attleborough ,Ma.... NO.... However, Bristol, Ct and Gainesville, Fl are different stories completely...... Would I call them urban hell holes?...absolutely not... Would I say that they both have a lot of documented gang activity?...Yes, I would.... And I was making two separate points... I was saying in general... Look at all of the inner cities in America.... Flooded with drugs and guns.... What do you expect to happen?...Killed or put in Prison... That's the life these people choose.. They know what the risks are... So, no.... I won't pray for the victims... Because IMO, they were probably into the same thug life that Aaron was into.... Like I said, they knew the risks... I have no sympathy for those type of people... I'll save my prayers and sympathy for the little girl who's had two lung transplants and failed on both...If I'm the bad guy for that.... So be it... God Bless

You could always send Tebow and Brady in to save them all...

Did Tim help Aaron at Florida?.....Yes he did.. Tim was a true leader... He set the example for his teammates... They all followed and cared about Tim's well being... The reason being, the feeling was mutual... Tim would do anything for his teammates...Even pay Aaron's tab(After his fight) at 'The Swamp' restaurant... And I never blamed Brady for Aaron's 'alleged' crimes.... I just feel like that if Tom was the leader that TeBow was at Florida, this may have never happened... Being a leader means caring about your teammates ON and OFF the field... God Bless

Suggesting that Tebow is a better leader than Brady is ludicrous enough for me to give up this "crusade." I'm done.

You are a winner. Tim would be very proud of you. You have shown that you are a true inspiration and hero to all TT fans. God bless

And, I give you about 3 more days here.

I like Tom, I really do... But as far as being a leader of men.... I just feel like Tim sets the example.. God Bless

Good to hear Tim is such a leader of men - and you are so enthusiastic about that which is a different conversation altogether.

Unfortunately, for Tim, and for you, and for all the other TT homer, lemmings out there is that Tim will just have to continue to be that amazing "leader of men" that you claim he is because there is zero chance he will ever be a leader of a football team.

I'm waiting for some big scandal to come out about Tebow...I just hope it isn't when he's a member of the Patriots. But the "holier-than-thou" thing rubs me the wrong way.

Is that you christian_cat? What's wrong? No one hangs out at your site?

Holy Christmas, I must'of took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and woke up in the Tim Tebow #1 Fan Forum.

LOL, Gotta agree.

Not sure what happened that all the rookie TT fans massed in one thread.

I like TT, think he gets a bum rap from the mass media, and 80% of fans because of the media over-playing his christian stuff, and think he can be a good EXTRA part of the overall team.

But, other than the reports about TT being his recruiting visit sponsor; I have read NO EVIDENCE that TT played any serious part in mentoring, corralling, motivating AH during their time at Florida.

Everything that has been written suggested that the Asst Coach (whose name I can't remember) who became his surrogate Dad was the one who kept him in check.

All the articles I read said they didn't have much to do with each other because of the age difference (4 years) and maturity level difference (15 years). They just had DIFFERENT INTERESTS (one: christianity, football, school // the other: football as a means to Drinking, women, drugs, & fame; and then also thuggery).

And as far as that and his ON-Field Leadership somehow being BETTER THAN TB (you have got to be kidding ).

As far as his OFF-Field Leadership ---
that same Christian Role-model thing he has going will work well WITH THOSE WHO ARENT PUT OFF BY IT. The vast majority of professional football players would in fact be put off by it (if he was over-the-top-proselytizing instead of just playing the role-model). And a guy like AH was not going to be adjusting his way-of-life just based "on one of the other 53 guys I see 4-hours a day 5-6 days a week lives a christian lifestyle." TT would have to be actively involved in being a 'BIG BROTHER' and sorry I don't see how TT would have time for that as a professional athlete & adult with his own life.
- maybe as a college athlete he might have the time if they lived in same dorm/vicinity - but I again dispute that it was ever that way in FL - I have read NOTHING to indicate that.
