Exactly. There are plenty of other guys with more red flags coming out of college than ahern. Jenkins for one. Maybe moss falls into that category.
To be honest I'm a little worried about spikes. Nothing would surprise me

I will probably go back to my lurking now. Just hate seeing the media A) use tebow just to get clicks, and B) act like they saw this kind of stuff coming.. where was that video 5 weeks ago at mini camp saying how Hernandez was probably going to murder someone because of his lifestyle.. bs.

I am one of the Patriot fans that did not want Tebow here because of the tumult the Jets went through last season...but the more I thought it through the more I realized the Pats are NOT the Jets...in fact, no franchise or fanbase is quite like the Green Nyets. You will find many diverse opinions here and many times threads will get heated but is that NOT who we are??? If you have no passion for NFL football then I suggest you may be an oblivious android.

Holley's point about paying Welker was also 20/20 hindsight. He forgot to mention that Welker is almost ten years older than Gronk and Hernandez, which is the primary reason that the Patriots didn't offer him a longer term deal.

If there ever was a stick to poke in the Jets' eye it is Tebow. That reason alone should be enough to make Tim a fun member of the Pats.

Welcome. You'll find the only thing hated by fools more than Tebow is the Patriots. BTW, the harshest, stupidest media is usually based in Boston. (In sports they are all angling to be contrarian -leaving one to wonder who they are contrary to...but I digress. Other things should not be on a sports board.)

Welcome SDI- I too trolled the Jets site last year- Got to be the worst fans in the NFL- So happy that the Pats are a class organization. They will be very easy to root for and make my "team". I hope Tebow doesn't play and just learns for a year or two. Brady is the Man and irreplaceable in my book- They were always my second favorite team anyway because Ahern (sad day) and Spikes were there. I hope we stick it to the Jets big time-
