Riess is the only writer in town with creditbility put your money on him, plus it was his knee wrapped

Apples or oranges, they are both significant injuries.

Reiss is very close to the organization. Curran went national so I'm taking the local guy.

only Clayton or Borges really know the answer - now those are two investigative reporters who tell it like it is

I dont remember Curren saying it was a torn Achillies...

Curran never said anything about achilles.

Curran said he was injured, didn't know the specific injury, and that he would certainly not miss the season.

Reiss said he had an ACL injury and that no timetable could be specified.

I think we can just combine the two into Jackson has an ACL injury but will not miss the 07 season.

From the other thread...I guess I took this to mean it was achilles

Chad Jackson reportedly suffered an injury during the AFC Championship that could limit him into the summer.

There were some rumors about an Achilles injury, but Jackson isn't in danger of missing next season. NBCSports.com's Tom Curran says Jackson will "probably be limited in passing camps and offseason reps," which won't help him make a second-year leap after a disappointing rookie year.

Yup, Curran was simply referring to the Wright rumor in which he speculated it was either an achilles or an ACL.

I guess I don't see how the Curran and Reiss articles contradict each other - on the contrary I think they actually back each other up. Both writers are reliable sources of info, I imagine both are on point, just relaying different points of the story.

Curran was reading Patsfans, KFFL and Patriots Planet and cobbled together a story. LOL!!

Great place for leads don't you think? I mean where else can you get such a concentration of unfiltered Patriot information? Besides, if it works for the MEN IN BLACK, no reason Tom can't dress more formally and talk with train locker critters.

Kind of like the good, the bad and the ugly - except there is no good at all among these two, but they BOTH are ugly and very bad.

LOLOL
