I dont care how talented he is.. He is a turd.. Just like Ray Lewis is a turd, but he was able to get out of that incident in 2000

It sure looks like this story has a long way to run, and it doesn't look good for Turdman Jones.

i've lost a lot of respect for jeff fisher and the whole titan organization in the last 5 months.

I have heard/read about this only once before you just posted this article, and it has been at least 4 days since it happened. how is it no one is reporting this? instead we get stories on brady's baby, bald britney, and Manny *gasp* being Manny.

A football player told a security guard "I'm going to kill you," and then went outside where an accomplice (a friend? a bodyguard? we know he knew the guy) fires shots and hits 3 people (including the bodyguard he threatened to kill). Oh by the way, this player has had 2 previous altercations at nightclubs/stripclubs and is on probation for a disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

We're talking about a player who is likely going to go to jail for awhile and no one thinks it is worth reporting.

If Pacman would write a book about it (published by ESPN of course) it'd be everywhere, and some washed-up player would conveniently give an interview as the story was dying down where he stated he hated Pacman Jones.

A TURD indeed.

Agreed. However what he and his entourage really are is THUGS, HOODLUMNS, and CRIMINALS. They, like many celebrities think they are above the law. They are not men. Men own up to and accept their actions and the consequences.

Low life human being = Scumbag Jones.

He really should get kicked out of the league, go to jail for assault, battery, and being an accomplice to a shooting which has paralyzed a man. He then should go to jail where he and Clarrett can become cell buddies and trade stories of the thuggishness, get into a fight and... well, the world would be a better place without them.

In reality none of this will happen, Turdman will pay the victims some money and they will drop the charges and/or he will get a plea for simple assault and get probation like Sean Taylor and Ricky Manning JR.

Charges like that won't get dropped. Not with the one security guard being paralyzed and still in critical condition.

What I find hilarious is that Jones' lawyer doesn't believe that the incident violated Jones' conditions from a previous case. Any SANE person KNOWS that it does and that Jones is in some deep trouble.

If the police have the video tape of Jones and the shooter together in the club, then Jones is screwed.

Looks like the Titans may be in the market for a new CB.

um, shooting a gun into a crowd and hitting 3 people kinda draws the interest of the district attorney's office. the victims don't press charges, the DA does.

What worries me is whether they can convict Jones. Won't it be like those mob scenarios where the Boss lets it be known that he is angry with someone and one of his gang takes the victim out but it can't be proved that the Boss ordered the murder?

The fact that Jones made threats and that someone from Jones' group then shot the victim doesn't mean that Jones ordered or caused him to do it -- or so Jones' expensive lawyer will argue, I fear.

When I thought about this appalling story, I thought too about the image of Ty Warren organizing the Patriots to take children from Roxbury/Brighton on a Christmas shopping spree and of Ty with his two beautiful daughters and beautiful pregnant wife on the Common for the Christmas Lights. There is a REAL man.

Think we should give him a look? :D

Hmmm...looks like the Bengals have another prospect...

Maybe he should change his name to TUPACMAN JONES?

I am well aware that the DA brings the charges, it just seems these athletes always get off and plea down to a lesser charge.

You and me pistol whip someone(Sean Taylor) or beat up on some computer geek at Dennys(Ricky Manning JR) and we are going to jail, while these athletes go to the Pro Bowl and usually get off scott free.

How much money do you think a person's mobility is worth? Do you think Jopnes has that much money?

I don't.

I think Jones will have to give up money, but it won't be of his own choosing.

"I'm going to kill you..." + friend starts shooting + 3 people hit + 1 paralyzed = civil law suit + criminal charges

Who to believe????

This story here puts the blame on the Dancers and a WOMAN that Jones was with.

I don't get it. How does this blame the dancers? Usually, when you toss bills at a stripper, they are going to pick them up.

Jones thought he was just doing it for show? Uh, it's not like this is his first time in a strip bar.
