Explosive New Hernandez Details

Regardless, at the very least - he is as dumb as can be to associate himself with people such as this.
Obviously I agree with that. My guess is he was clueless and at some point that night said "What the ***** did you just do".

looking for a chrysler 300 now? Drive by? AH and 2 buddys panicked and dumped the body?

If the cops thought it was any of the other 3 in the car I would think they all would be sitting in a holding cell right now till it's sorted out.. especially with AH having more then enough cash to just disappear.

bingo.........

Not good, not good at all.

Everything is just speculation at this point, but Hernandez definitely seems to be involved in some aspect.

Some of us will choose to believe that he couldn't possibly have done anything, while others will point to some of the writing on the wall prior to this happening which included reported gang ties, hanging out with the wrong people for many years, making his own rules and immature thinking, drug use, etc.

I'm not saying that he's a terrible person, but I am saying that he isn't exactly Tim Tebow either. There were many teams who were reported to have taken him off of their draft boards altogether based on what they perceived as red flags prior to the draft.

Looks like Aaron's been caught red-handed:

Hey!!!...those gloves don't fit...YOU MUST ACQUIT!!!

This idiot should have been home with his child. What a bunch of B.S. about how he has grown up since the birth of his child. Yeah, going out to bars with your thug friends and ending up in the middle of a murder investigation just screams "mature " to me.

Here's an idea: stay the ***** home. Dramatically reduces the risk of something bad happening. I cannot even believe I am reading the words "maybe they panicked and dumped the body" in a forum about our players. I just want to throw up.

bingo.........

Bingo...what?

You're saying that Hernandez's case doesn't have to follow legal protocol due to the fact that "he has enough money to run?"

That's completely irrelevant. Rich people are under investigation every day. As I said, if anything it's the complete opposite.

His lawyer will surely use the fact that he's a wealthy, famous player with major ties to the community when bail is being set--you can bank on that one.

Enough with these puns already!! The thread title having the word explosive in it was enough...

What a d***. Don't need thugs like this on the team. If reports are true this is the 2nd shooting he's been involved in which tells me the guy has poor judgment and a very serious lack of respect for human life. Accident or not if there was any shrivel of decency in Hernandez, he would of reported it to the police. Probably protecting his "homie".

Nothing happened in the first shooting. There was no criminal investigation which debunks the shooting. Because police have to check all gun wound accidents.

Hopefully this news isn't true, but if it is, that's pretty much it for him. What an idiot. It's still a very real possibility that they're jumping the gun in reporting this, though. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Screw Odin Lloyd. So someone I don't know died. Happens millions of times every day. Isn't the only relevant story here Hernandez, this being a Patriots forum and all?

Not doubting that Hernandez is the focus of this story at all. And thanks for the reminder that this is a Patriots forum - I must have forgotten that.

Sure, people die every day. Doesn't change the significance of this and the fact that a human being was murdered here.

My point is that it is absolutely absurd for all the pompom wavers around here to be so concerned about how Hernandez is feeling right now. He could have very well murdered a guy and we are going to be concerned about his feelings?

Losing the production from a team standpoint will absolutely suck. He was very versatile in keeping opposing defense's guessing as we lined him up in various formations.

Other than that (which is mainly what we're concerned about unfortunately), I completely agree with you.

I don't think any of us want players like that on the team...but I'd bet that every single NFL team including ours, has that problem at the moment.

It was in no way referencing anything about him running away , not sure you responded to the correct quote I was responding to. The one I responded to was about another car being looked for , so speculating, possibly someone else shot lloyd and his friends dumped his body.

here is what i responded to:

Uh, despite the discussions here about him clamming up to avoid the risk of incriminating himself despite his innocence, he may now be in the very real position of fending off prosecution for a crime.

At that point, he was either in the car or he wasn't. Decency has nothing to do with it. If he was in the car, reporting to the police would likely mean going to jail.

Could this really be happening? I liked Aaron. But it doesn't appear he'll be playing football any time soon.

No Gronk... no A-Hern... no Wes.

Guys... I think this season is gonna suck.

If true, do to Hernandez what the Steelers did with Holmes immediately.
