Tom Brady 99 yd TD to Welker vs Dolphins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rq75F9AnwI

A few of mine.... first from other teams.

First, whether you like the 9ers or not, this was one of the best playoff games I can remember. The ending play just gave me chills.
san francisco 49ers win divisional playoffs game winning touchdown - YouTube

Second, this play..... unbelievable to this day. Luckiest play I've ever seen.
Brandon Stokley winning TD vs. Bengals - YouTube

Third, if Blount can bring this kind of punch to our ground game, that would be fantastic.
LeGarrette Blount Amazing Run! (FULL) - YouTube

For Patriots plays...

I think this play against the Steelers in 07 has been forgotton..... but it's a great play.
New England Patriots Flea Flicker - YouTube

Look at the big guy go!!

Vince Wilfork Gets His First Interception Patriots Vs Chargers - YouTube

Another good play was this one. Having both of your first round picks make a big play ON the same play IN their first game. You don't see that often.
Chandler Jones & Dont'a Hightower MAKE A PLAY!! - YouTube

Mo Lewis hit, in a weird way,
David Patten getting knocked out but the fumble going out of bounds.
Adam Viniateri's kicks and the 2001 SB drive.
Tedy Bruschi's pick vs. Steve McNair in the playoffs.
Tedy Bruschi ripping the ball out of Dom Rhodes' hands vs. the Colts.
Troy Brown's punt return vs the Eagles in the in the 2004 SB.

Those all come to mind.

I can't believe I forgot the Vince INT! I actually remember watching that Flea Flicker vs the Steelers. Ah, good times.

I just remembered an additional play that think is pretty cool.

Saints vs Redskins INT fumble TD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9qhEZEN_6s

Rewatching it, it doesn't look quite so impressive now and it certainly isn't a headline grabbing play but at the time, Vince Wilfork putting Matt Birk on skates just screamed "man amongst boys":

wilfork vs birk.wmv - YouTube

It was a sit up in your seat and just say "wow!" moment.

Any of the SB FGs.

In general I'd say the goal line fade is the most fun to watch.

3 Patriots related plays/instances

1. That Kyle Love hit on the INT return that knocked the opposing player's mouthpiece about 25 feet in the air. I still can't believe it when I see the replay. I've never seen someone's mouthpiece fly that far up into the air before in any football game I've ever watched.

2. The Ty Law 3 INT performance in the AFCCG vs IND.

3. Dan Connelly KO return in the MNF game.

3 non-Patriots related plays/instances

1. Dan Marino's fake spike for a TD pass...will always remember that one.

2. The great upset MNF game where MIA beat CHI in the 1985 season, giving them their only loss on the season.

3. The SEA/GB replacement official game on MNF from last season. Being an avid sportsbettor (for entertainment purposes only..it's a family site), I have seen many strange instances over my lifetime; many regarding the outcome of a wager. I can honestly say that I don't remember as much sheer shock or controversy over any instance, and that's including professional boxing etc. My sportsbook actually refunded a portion of the losing bet due to having so much outcry. I still can't believe they called it the way they did.

It's a no brainer. There's not a close second. It's head and shoulders above the rest for me.

The TROY BROWN STRIP

Brady had just thrown the season away on a 4th down desperation pass and was picked off. The season was OVER. The Chargers had dodged a bullet. Ya gotta remember how freaking stocked that team was. Overwhelming favorites to win it all. The 06 Chargers were a juggernaut.
During the broadcast, even Phil Simms remarked,"The Chargers are just bigger, faster, and stronger than The Patriots."
Well, he forgot one thing. That being football brains.

Enter Troy Brown.

That was the sickest play I'd ever seen. I mean, it came out of absolutely nowhere.

Then all hell broke loose on San Diego. Rechee Caldwell has the game of his life, Kevin Faulk takes the loaf as Brady pirouettes on the 2 point conversion, and by the time all is said and done, Ladanian is getting pushed around like a freaking pinball by Rodney Harrison and his band of goons.

Oh baby. NOTHING comes close for me. That will forever be my football orgasm.

Another I loved was the statue of liberty against the Jags. I think its because I had no clue what was going on at the time is why I love it so much.

Not quite my favorites but always memorable the Flutie drop kick and Ben Watsons run down on Champ Bailey's interception. I still think he punched the ball out through the endzone and it should have been a saftey.

Butt Fumble
Gronk's entire game @ Washington in 2011
Curtis Martin's first run in the NFL
Bryan Cox lighting up a Colts reciever - turning point in 2001
Any of Troy Brown's PR TD's - things of beauty
Brady to Brown - 2003 Dolphins OT game
Brady throws TD and gets in Steelers backup safety face who talked trash before game
Moss one handed TD on Revis
Dan Connolly kickoff return vs. Green Bay

I'll second the Brady to Brown 80+ yard TD pass in OT against the Dolphins. That's got to be the most excited I've been for a non-playoff game. Even Belichick himself couldn't help but show emotion after that game.

Not only was the play itself great, but it was the culmination of a lot of things......

1.) Years of losing in the Miami heat
2.) Years of finishing behind the Dolphins
3.) Two VERY makeable, "would be game winning" field goal attempts gone awry byt the Dolphins

From a pure "I can't believe what I just saw perspective" it has to be the two long bomb TD's Moss caught in Miami in 2007. Simply unbelievable.

Here's a non-Patriots one...

Does anyone remember that throw downfield Cam Newton made across his body while falling out of bounds at Auburn? I'm looking for the video but I don't remember who the other team was.

Yes!! I forgot about Moss's 2 TDs in that Miami game! It was the peak of the 07 where It looked like Brady just wasn't even trying.

Did anyone mention Lonnie Paxton snow angel, yet?

Playoffs 2002 vs Oakland?

Not quite my favorites but always memorable the Flutie drop kick and Ben Watsons run down on Champ Bailey's interception. I still think he punched the ball out through the endzone and it should have been a saftey.

Well, a touchback and NE ball, not a safety.

But other than that, you're correct. We were screwed by moron Triplette. (Who fans of virtual all NFL teams think is one of the worst refs in the league).
