Kraft, Putin, and that SB Ring

This whole story came from the same event where he talked endlessly about Tebow and how his spirituality appealed to him personally. He held back a story for 8 years that is embarrassing to him and the Bush admin and just now comes out with it?

Most likely: Kraft was totally wasted at an event honoring him and gave the media a full week of stories with a single interview.

1. Since Putin is seeming like a more obnoxious leader now than he did then, Kraft may have wanted to give him a hard time.

Kraft is such a fool on this. He took his ring off to show off and have Putin try it on. Putin has no idea that Kraft is just showing off and thinks that Kraft is giving it to him and leaves. Do you think Putin knows or cares who Kraft or the Patriots are? People give him stuff all the time. Kraft got what he deserved for showing off.

Putin should have known to be sure that it was a gift and confirm with a translator instead of just pocketing it...but yeah you probably right that he don't realize the value of the ring and may have even lost it. Hahahaha

Oh I love a conspiracy! What do you think Krafty asked for to keep from asking for his ring back in 2005? And whatever consideration it was, did it just end?

According to some Kremlin guy who claims he was "within 20 centimeters" of them, the ring's now on display in the Kremlin. (He also says, surprise surprise, that Kraft gave it to him for realsies.)

I'm thinking the same thing. Jonathan pretty much runs things behind the scenes now anyway. Bob has become a bit "loose" in public since Myra passed. But he's still head man, and whether he can be shown the mirror might be problematic.

I think it was part of an economic goodwill summit. But again, that was YEARS ago. The only reason it's been unearthed is because Bob blabbed inadvisedly.

One reason could be the steadfast support of Syria by Russia. Just yesterday, the US decided to support the syrian rebels. And then this story is posted in a Murdoch mouth piece. Kraft is known to be quite sympathetic to the Israeli cause - this could be his contribution to discredit Putin.

Interesting theory, but it could backfire if Putin decides to return the ring with an apology over the "misunderstanding." That would make Bob look pretty small.
