NEM Kicked off the site completely

Its really not possible to totally eliminate him from this site,He can rejoin AGAIN under another name and keep posts under control and he will remain-even if we think its NEM if he does not admit it (of course he wouldn't) then,I don't think there is a way to totally ban anyone....Only ban 'the name'.

He just wont be able to tell us how much of a long term Patriots fans he is or what he did for the team in the past or his prayer before the games,But he can rejoin again...and will.

For sure,If you think he has retired from posting on this site then I have some swampland in New Jersey to sell to you. :)

What can stop anyone after getting banned to come back under another alias? - Absolutely Nothing....

I know you are here NEM...I can hear you breathing

Of course.

He already went with McDaniels last time, so I'm betting he'll go with Hobbs.

That would censor every word with nem in it.

"Bill Belichick is Peyton's ***essis."
"Boy, emi*** sure sucks."
"Have you seen Finding ***o?"

no not true, it may be able to be set up properly for just the 3 letter version

I certainly had my differences with him that were reaching critical mass but I do wish him the best. I really hope that he gets the problems that he has in his personal life resolved for the better.

That is the important stuff, not a football mesage board. This is recreation.

He has the IP Banned...:snob: :snob:

NEM can get around it. Patriots Planet banned him, and he keeps coming back under unique handles such as NEMichick.

Ahm ok,i didn't know it :).NEMichick? :D :D

Don't worry,Somehow he will get back in...Even if he has to use a different computer or something..He will be back in..This is his life and he cannot live without a patriots forum...

When you are desperate you make things happen and he likely will somehow,He may have never went back to the other Patriots forums he was banned from (maybe he had) but this is one he REALLY loves and won't leave, not without his heart stopping short of it....

BOTTOM LINE IS THIS...ONLY 'THE NAME 'NEM' IS GONE' ...THE PERSON IS HERE AND WILL BE HERE AS LONG AS HIS HEALTH PERMITS.

What problems does he have in his personal life?

And also, what did he do that got him in so much trouble?

I always found NEM to be controversial, but passionate...a little like myself, I might add...

For that, he should not be banned...

If we start banning people because we do not agree with them, aren't we getting a little "1984-Orwellian" in our thinking, comrades?

I mean the guy started a Pats Fan Club in Arizona for God's sake. One that hosted a massive bash a couple of years back that counted Robert Kraft and John Kerry as guests, I believe (sorry I missed it!)

He DEFINITELY loves the Pats!

Don't misunderstand, I have the utmost respect for Ian Logue. He keeps this board running under sometimes trying circumstances and we all reap the benefits of that labor.

I would tend to understand & support Ian if NEM was asked him to abstain from a particular behavior and he ignored the request (ie: creating a new name to circumvent detection or whatever).

But, maybe it should only be like a 30 or 60-day suspension, as opposed to a lifetime ban?

We could change the little moniker under the name to "PUP List" or something...LOL!

Just my two cents. Anticipating the slam.

No slam necessary - suffice to say Ian's tried anything and everything and apparently the banning to the Political forum alone didn't produce the hoped for attitude adjustment.

I do hope NEM has an attitude adjustment for his own well being and I think that's part of what prompted Ian to make all these decisions.

As others have pointed out, IP masking programs are not tough to come by and I expect NEM will be able to get his fix of Patriots football input in, albeit under a different identity, which might be best for all.

Sorry, it will do no good for anyone to relive what you are asking about.

If you search the threads of a few weeks ago, you will find your answers.

hasn't the topic of NEM been discussed enough, is the offseason that boring - heck Manning reportedly restructured his contract to save the Colts $8,000,000 off the salary cap

that is news - not some banned patriot fan

As somebody else said though, he's be spotted within a few posts since his style was unique, even if you look at only the grammar and spelling. And, first post about McDaniel and he'd totally blow his cover.

Yea, you're probably right. Don't mean to bore anyone with this...

This is the first I had heard of it is all.

And remember that some have been on this board together for many years, and onto other boards pre-dating this one, so it is of some interest to some of us.

don't forget his opinion about moving Wilson to CB and put Hobbs at nickel

Not that interested, actually...

But thanks for the lead...

I`ts a shame it came to this. Rules are rules got to abide by it.
I liked Nem he made me laugh some times.
Going to miss his early pats years as we both was original
season ticket holders. To me it`s a sad day when we lose a poster
here. Was there any one more controversial?

not aimed at you as many were not aware on the main board but if a discussion as to if he should be banned started up again it would do nothing but create a division.

I am the father of Anna Nicole's baby, NEM is the father of Mary Cheney's baby!

Seriously, alot of people over at the political board tried to help NEM, some even went waaaaay out of there way, in trying to help him. We even decided to allow football related posts over there to keep NEM engaged. Ian gave him every chance in the world, and yet he still crossed him.

I always thought that it was You who was going to marry Bridget Moynihan ?:D
