I have to work this weekend, but knowing what can happen after the Marquise Hill tragedy I just wanted to wish everyone well. Be safe out there.

My boy is in the Needham Memorial Day soccer tournament ...

Going to be a bit wet for us parents ... the sun always shines on the soccer pitch for the kids. :D

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

My sister, brother in-law, and niece all live in Needham. I live in Brooklyn but have family up in "Patriots Land". Like Ian posted last week, Sammy Morris now coaches in Attleboro. My grandparents' house was there.
So... yeah. My whole family is spread around there, Worchester too. Lotta towns which I've always linked to my Patriots love have been mentioned over here lately.
I mean, I never make it up there. I'm "down here" and everybody is "up there"
So... yeah. Just saying it's nice to hear people chiming in from that magical place with Crabby Coach Bill, Pretty Tommy Boy, Goofy Gronk, and all tha rest of our beloved Patriots.
Hava safe Memorial Day. I'll be careful skeezin' with tha hoes down here no sleep till Brooklyn.

This is constantly drilled into our heads here in the military, and it deserves repeating:

DO NOT drink and drive. Have a plan before you go out or don't go out. Please consider the safety of yourself, safety of your loved ones, and safety of my loved ones.

A couple of things going on this weekend with the Hall at Patriot Place, in case anyone is interested:

->->-> Free Admission this weekend for active and veteran military, police, and firefighters
Honoring those who serve | The Hall at Patriot Place

In a small token of our appreciation to those that risk their lives serving the public, The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon will offer free admission to active military, veterans, police officers and fire fighters during Memorial Day weekend -- May 25-27.

Qualifying visitors will need to show proper identification confirming their position in one those groups, and the free admission offer is for that person only and cannot be combined with any other offers.

Visitors will show their ID at The Hall's ticket office located in the lobby.

->->-> Stanley Morgan autograph signing on Sunday
Stanley Morgan autograph signing | Event | The Hall at Patriot Place

Patriots Hall of Famer Stanley Morgan will be at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon on Sunday, May 26 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. to sign autographs and meet the fans.

Regular admission rates apply. There is no additional charge.

Not to forget that fireworks are a huge part of this holiday....if you or your kids are going to be using these, please be careful as I have seen way too many tragedies with those who are not serious with them.

I hope everyone has a nice, safe, relaxing weekend! :eat3:

Same to you & yours Ian and everyone as well, Safe Fun Weekend.
