@ No so Sharper, jealousy makes you look even uglier than you clearly already are.

Hypocrite.

Is Sharper a tv guy now? He's definitely gotten the part down by the looks of it.

numbskull doesn't realize that signal stealing is legal and always has been legal in the nfl, while maiming other players for money has never been legal.

he doesn't think purposely injuring players, for money, is cheating ? what turnip truck did he fall off of ?

1) Can't we just let this go?

2) It was a bad mistake by Belichick (or, as Bob Kraft put it, a mistake that Belichick was a "schmuck" to make).

3) The Pats have paid dearly for that mistake in terms of reputation and brand damage, especially outside of New England.

4) Reporters and haters will write or speak about it until the cows come home because it still gets headlines and clicks and, unfortunately, threads like this when we take the bait.

5) Everything meaningful that can be said in defense of the organization has already been said. Nothing any of us can say in defense of the franchise is going to change anyone's mind.

I'd rather drag my genitals through broken glass than click on that link. Only my opinion.

While I agree, please avoid painful vivid imagery that I can't get out of my mind :(

I apologize. I should have known better. In fact, for sure, I was raised better. Mea culpa.

I ain't clickin' anything to do with spygate, beyond this forum of course.

I like how they cut the piece right before the rebuttal.

That and how Sharper used the opinion of a Steerlers player who is still steamed about the '04 AFCCG TP validate his position. Yeah, that's a balanced and objective POV

I do wish some former Patriot in the media, like Evans, McGinest, Bruschi, or Harrison, would defend the team in as pointed a manner as people like Sharper attack them.

As PatsFanSince74 brought up, the Patriots made a mistake. They could not have known Goodell would go nuclear on them, but they should have considered that option and adjusted accordingly.

The Saints knew, from seeing what happened to NE, that they could get hammered for a rules violation and continued their program. They were even given a private warning by the league (a luxury the Patriots didn't get), told the league they cleaned up their act and continued business as usual.

In the minds of the small percentage of people who actually give a s*** about it.

For most people, the fact that the Patriots keep kicking the s*** out of the teams they root for is a far more important to hate/grudgingly respect them. ;)

I disagree, but :spygate:.

The only thing that's important to the vast majority of the people you describe is that the Patriots haven't won an SB since Spygate.

Please don't waste your breath trying to tell me how illogical that is, because I agree with you and we are on the same side. But we really shouldn't deceive ourselves by thinking that, outside New England, the Brand and reputation damage wasn't very real.

It's logical to think we did something but that isn't really reality. In each Super Bowl loss, we were 1 catch away from winning, so to me that shows we just weren't lucky enough like the other team. Luck does have a big factor.

I dont see the saints going 16-0

Absolutely not. If we do enough whining about idiot comments and self-reassurance amongst ourselves maybe by 2071 everyone else will magically see it our way.

You know that.

I know that.

But, pls read my comment. This isn't about Logic. Haters and mediots don't care about Logic.

This has been a very, very long of season.

But, there is plenty to do now for outside activities rather than watch 3rd rate time filler videos on the internet. Having not watched this video, I may have to apologize to those who those who make 3rd rate time filler videos.

i actually like the spygaters. it's like a litmus test for their football acumen. anyone who buys it has never played football. darren sharper obviously played for the saints. he is either lying about stealing signals or covering for himself for bounties. or both. trying to injure another player, and possibly ending their career or worse, and thus influencing the outcome of a game is reprehensible. any player who doesn't think so is a snake in the grass.
