He'll be decent depth. He just was never able to break top 3 in Tennessee for whatever reason, he had a hard time learning the playbook when he came in to the league.

Well, that doesn't bode well for him in New England.

I'm thinking he'll be more like decent camp fodder. He'll probably tear it up in the fourth quarter of the first pre-season game.

I remember him from his college days, when he teamed with Desean Jackson at Cal, but don't remember him doing anything in the Pros.

If this tells you anything about him......

Well, he keeps his socks pretty clean and white. I guess that is something.

Either that, or he has enough cash to buy a new pair for each day. :D

Pro playbooks apparently just complicate things for no reason. Didn't you hear?

I know he's just camp fodder, but what's the point of signing a guy who can't learn a simpler offense's playbook? Maybe Belichick just wants to make sure the corners are getting their TC reps against NFL-caliber athletes, then will cut the guy once that's done.

Strange in deed talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. Lavelle Hawkins you thought the Tennessee playbook was hard? You haven't seen nothing yet.

Or he doesn't play enough to get them dirty.

Well, at least there's no walking boot over them. That's a positive.

I've never heard of his intelligence getting questioned. He could be a good Markus Wheaton consolation prize.

Whosdat? LOL. Well the Patriots offseason overhaul of the WR position continues. Curious that they signed him to a 2 year deal though. Maybe they like him just a little bit more than Jenkins or Jones?
