Obviously, UDFA's might have roster opportunities if there are injuries. But where else do they have reasonable chances?

Looking at our projected rosters, I might pick ILB or DE, if 7th rounders weren't there to take those spots if they are available.

I think a guard or center might show something and head directly to Practice Squad.

My best guess is at punter. Belichick may wish to lock up a top punter for 3 years. Mesko is on his contract year.

With Donald Jones and Jenkins not locks to make it, I could see Moe or Thompkins winning a roster spot if they have a really strong preseason.

The multi-purpose roles are always a good spot to get a talent you can groom that can also replace a 3 or 4 (or more) year veteran's salary. I'd look for LB, TE or Guard.

If i were to think of the possitions where a UDFA could make their mark.

Guard/Centre, Fletcher's spot as a coverage LB, CB and WR.

Ian Sluss (The only UDFA LB) over Dane Fletcher? Care to make a wager on that one?

I could honestly see this. More than likely it will be Jenkins, because he's not what this team looks for at WR.

I could easily see one or two of Vellano, Grissom (DL), Moe (WR), Sudfeld (TE), Fisher, McDonald, Kline or Stankiewitch (OL) make the cut.

i think stankiewitch will make it i think moe will make it and i think 1 of grissom and vellano make it i hope thompkins, jones, fisher, kline, sudfield and the other of grissom and vellano can somehow all fit on the practice squad anyone know who is on our practice squad now after the cuts of ebert and them

Offensive Line
Defensive Line
Cornerback
Wide Receiver
Quarterback (although I'm not even sure if they signed one from UDFA)
Fullback

Offensive line. The Patriots went into the draft with the bare minimum
of nine on the roster. Slot receiver. Moe has four years of college experience. Edelman was a quarterback. Defensive tackle. Love and
Deaderick are in the last year of their contracts. Punter. Mesko is also
in the last year of his contract and management doesn't like his agent.
