Brian Who??????

Whatever happened to this guy? Does he even want to play football anymore?

IIRC, he might come back for the Texans, but probably nobody else. Wants to stay close to home.

Of course, the guy's on the wrong side of 35 and just took a year off from the game. Can't imagine he's too hot of a commodity right now.

True. I have to think he just doesn't have the heart to play even if he wanted to.

Following up: Brian Waters is now a free agent and able to sign with any team if he chooses to resume his NFL career.

So how does this affect the chances of him showing up for Training Camp? ;)

I wonder if this is so he can sign an one day contract with the Chiefs to retire.

Thank goodness he is gone because he sucked last year!

Too old to start anymore IMO

Brian Waters is a backup on a team unless their OL is in shambles....and Waters probably has too much pride to sit and wait until called in.

Thank you Mr. Waters for one helluva season 2 years ago and protecting the franchise QB.....I wish you well in a well deserved retirement and future business endeavors.

Are there any available Rutgers scrubs we can insert in his position? :bricks:

He used to be invisible in only big games.

You mean this might be the last Brian Waters thread?

Good riddance, dirtbag. :enranged:

At least he didn't allow any sacs against Brady last year. :p

He walked away instead of being led out in a wheel chair... better to know your limits.

While he is denigrated on this board, most consider him a classy dude...

Yeah, what a dirtbag for wanting to spend his time near his family.

Does this move have any salary cap implications at all?

No.

Once the Pats placed Waters on the 'Did Not Report List', his number was removed from the Pats salary cap. That remained in effect for this year's cap.

This is kinda like when a celebrity dies and you feel bad because you didn't think they were still alive...

Brian Wa??? ohhhhhhh right
