Make your best jokes here.

What's the over/under for threads starting here today asking if the Pats should sign him? :bricks:

Never kick a man when he's down. He may get up.

Belichick loves the kid. Had dinner with him before he was drafted. Just sayin'. ;)

Sign him.

What is there to lose?

From the curse of Weeb to the curse of Tebow.

Call me crazy, or maybe I just have a soft spot for him, but I think that BB could find a way to use him. Not at QB, but somewhere. He is a big talented athlete who has a great work ethic and is a good guy from all accounts. I wouldn't be opposed to taking him on and seeing if he can make the team.

I couldn't be happier. Love Tebow. One of the best news to come in a long time. Only bright spot of a stinking slimey organization. Get that dreaded uniform off now Tim!!! And go on a sabbatical, journey, cleansing...whatever it is you do...to rid yourself of that tainting stench.

PS: And no I actually DO NOT want him on the Pats team. I think he should keep looking for a back up job to a scrub starter that one day he can grab.

I agree. Find a way to maximize his skills on special teams and give the other team something to think about by using him is a FB set on certain plays. There would be no media circus here because the Patriots are not an embarrassing soap opera like the Jets. Good kid, good work ethic and he wouldn't be a distraction in a any way. Hope BB does take a look at him.

Send Steve Belichick over to talk to him.

Hes in the area.

Is he interested in playing any other position?

BTW, the 2 players the Broncos drafted with the picks the Jets gave them for Tebow are still with the team, and one was a significant contributor as a rookie.

I'd be surprised if BB wants to create the distraction in camp, for the other players and for the coaching staff. There's overhead to signing someone and bringing him to camp. Every player has to be attended to, coached up, evaluated, given reps, etc. There are limited resources.

I think he could catch on as a RB or Special Team'er IF he chooses to... but everything I've read says he will play QB and only QB and he's not cutting it in the NFL as a QB.

Too bad, I've been rooting for him because I think he's a good athlete and seems to be a fine young man, I like to see good people who give 110% succeed.

Was hoping it would be Greg McElroy.

I hear the Canadian Football League calling!!

1) Sign the Beast!!!!!!!!

2) Can he rush the quarterback????

3) Is he as good as Adam Seward????

.....that's it, I'm done.

You're talking about someone who has brought in Corey Dillon, Randy Moss, OchoCinco, Albert Haynesworth and, last year, a guy pending trial in Nebraska.

BB isn't afraid of distractions. He's probably asking around for Dzokhar Tsarnaev's speed in the 40 right now.

 Absolutely!!

Btw I don't think Tebow would be a distraction here. Think we're all set at QB. :D

There's no way David Patten makes the Jets.

Haynesworth? Ochocinco? To a lesser extent, Corey Dillon?

Since when has BB ever been afraid of distractions?
