My guesses:

Nassib/Barkley to Buffalo (not really a surprise now)

Mingo going ahead of Jordan (quite rightly)

Warmack falls to the twenties.

The Patriots gettting a Trade offer at 29 I just honestly can't see it happening with so many other Teams loaded with picks near by ie...49ers and Cincy.

I'll take a few guesses

DJ Fluker top 10
Geno Smith not in the 1st round
EJ Manuel 1st QB taken

and a real dark horse...

Cornelius Washington in the late 1st round

Auburn's Corey Leominer going late in the 1st.

We take a qb at 29. This would even surprise BB.

Can see this one happening - lot's of rumours that the Cards like him.

Or I can see some team falling in love with Honey Badger's plamaking ability and taking him late in the 1st

The least surprising thing that will happen tonight is when the Patriots are on the clock with all but maybe 2 WR's still on the board, then they don't draft one by trading out or picking a DE/DT/CB etc.

Hilarity ensues.

Margus Hunt going before Star Lotuleilei

From a Pats standpoint, I'd be shocked if they trade up again thos year.

I woudn't mind a CB I want NO Part of Ras-I Dowling for Dept at CB. Seriously Arrington is fine in the Slot he sucks on the outside. Dowling is just too unreliable sorry we never knew you. We want a good CB with upside not named Dowling for Dept.

Also one thing we have seen and know about BB he would rather take a CB or TE before a WR in the First food for thought.

Ziggy slides to 19 or later. Geno to the late 20's. Ogletree to day 2. Hayden first round. Spikes traded by Pats (As part of a deal for Mallett).

The biggest surprise of the night - The Patriots brain trust draft a player that is not listed on any Patsfans.com thread in the 1st and/or 2nd round.

That's not a surprise, that's a lock! :)

You are one of the few that has a WR worth #29 other than the top 2. I understand the wish to reach for a WR; I just don't think that Belichick will do so with a first rounder.

You must have me mixed up for someone else. I don't have anywhere near the level of experience / time spent scouting players to have even a hint of an idea which players are worth what kind of pick.

My post is just suggesting that there is as much hype over WR this year as there has been about a single position on these boards. With a limited number of picks this season, if the 1st one isn't a WR (assuming a pick is made), then overnight people will doom and gloom like wild. An exception would be if someone expected to be picked top 15 drops to around when the Patriots pick.

In my opinion WR is a critical need; maybe the biggest need on the team. However, this draft is extremely deep at WR. I hope they DO NOT draft one in the 1st. I'd prefer a stud DT or DE, then an elite CB, then WR. There are likely 8-10 WR's that are difference makers and could start for us immediately in this draft (assuming the whole grasping of the playbook etc). Not true for DE /DT.
