I was listening to the radio at lunch and theres talk of the Panther's releasing him . He was pretty good 2 years ago but has had 2 sub par years since.
Think he's worth a look?

he didnt have 2 sub par seasons since..he had 1 which was last year

2 years ago he was amazing..this year he had injuries over and over and was never near 100%. Marshall played well..Lucas has a big cap. Panthers are tight in salary space so they need to cut someone

You tell us man. You're the one in Carolina.

You're damn right he is worth a look. Asante and Lucas would be a formidable starting CB tandem with great depth from Hobbs and Gay. Though I would be more way stoked if it were Clements and Samuel.

Either one of them is well worth a look and would compliment Samuel very well on the other corner.

In either case, the Pats will look for another corner either in free agency or in the draft, possibly first round, to give them starting corners on both sides. And Eugene Wilson might be moved back to the corner too. He is much more comfortable at corner than at safety.

I like Lucas, BTW.

Good size, physical. Definitely worth a gander.

I wouldn't call him a stud but he can be a solid player with us if the money is right. BB seems to get the most out of average DB's and he's better than most of what we have. I would try to get him for a couple yearsand groom a younger player.
He didn't make many "big" plays for the Panthers the last few years but other than Peppers nobody else did.
