The question remains - will Goodell suspend him?
My feeling is a 30 day sentence shows that the authorities are not making a bigger deal out of this than they should - but leave it to Goodell to decide that the Justice System isn't being hard enough and he needs to suspend a player for something done before they were ever in the NFL

Don't think he really can after Kendrick Ellis.
The incident didn't happen while he was in the NFL. He shouldn't be suspended
Yes - but I'm sure everyone is aware that Goodell HAS suspended players for incidences that occured BEFORE they were in the NFL before.
He's also NOT suspended players in the past - so no surprise, Goodell has been inconsistent.
So we do need to wait until they make a statement to celebrate.
