Good GOD.

Put Coach Dante to work on this kid, and who knows what he might become.

For those who didn't Click on the Link I provided, or who don't know:

1 ~ The 438 Short Shuttle would've been #1 at The Combine.

2 ~ The 35" Vertical would've also been #1.

3 ~ The 125" Broad would've also been #1...by 9 Inches!!

4 ~ His 478 Forty would've been #3.

He's got a 35" WingSpan.

Don't have his 3 Cone Time.

What.

A.

Freak.

He's listed as a Defensive End ~ which wouldn't break my heart, mind you ~ but he's obviously a Clean Slate ~ a Champion Discuss Lobber, for those who don't know'f'm ~ and I'd prefer to develop'm as an Offensive Tackle.

But, hey: I'm Easy.

I'm interested as long as he isn't related to Amobi Okoye.

I'd want to try him at 3-tech first. He's got the explosion to be exceptional there, and I think he'd be able to play there sooner than on offense. A messed up play on the offensive line gets Brady killed. A messed up play on the defensive line means either no pressure from him or a long run thanks to a blown gap.

Honestly, I don't think there's any stopping this kid. Just viewed the Interview. This kid oozes quiet Intensity & Determination, and specifically mentioned that he's prepared to churn away on the Practice Squad.

With Sebastian The Cruel & Nate Universal Solder locked and loaded, the 2nd Round is too pricey to invest in Offensive Tackle at this point, otherwise how cool would it be to bring in ~ arguably ~ the two most athletically gifted Offensive Tackles in the Draft ~ Menelik Watson being the other ~ with both being British?? Blimey!! :D

"Nice Blocking on that Go, Mate! Wot, wot?"

"Thanks, Old Boy!!"

"Care for a spot of Tea & Crumpets after this Match, Old Horse?"

"Jolly Good!!"

Good Argument.

Huh.....We'll I would be intrigued. He reminds of when Blaine Sumner, DT, Colorado School of Mines was a 2011 Draft Prospect.

Well, he hasn't ... you know, played the game. Still ...

:ukflag:

Former Rugby Union player (like the Aussie TE for the Jets) and utterly freakish numbers for the combine, personally I'd have him at DT and give him 1 job - get into the backfield and hit whoever has the ball there as hard as he can.

It reminds me of Brock Lesnars foray into NFL a few years ago.

It's one thing being a freakish athlete, but another to make an impact in the NFL having never played a snap in your life. Still, I suppose the ingredients are there to make him an interesting prospect and nothing ventured, nothing gained etc....
