Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: 'Bomb Foxboro, MA first!'

No chance that North Korea would bomb Foxboro anyway. It should be fairly obvious by this point that Foxboro is part of the axis of evil along with North Korea. If anything, I suspect BB has already send advisers to work on North Korea's offensive gameplan.

! thought it was funny. People are too damned sensitive.

This doesn't bother me one bit. It's actually kind of a compliment...I mean nobody in the AFC East has called down nukes on the Jets in a long time.

Sure, it wasn't Politically Correct or sensitive or any of that good stuff, but if you're looking for sophisticated, PC discourse you probably shouldn't be looking for it from an NFL player or, for that matter, from any sports fan who is worked up about his/her team...I mean, we've all yelled "Kill the Ump/Ref/whomever," or its equivalent at some point haven't we?

It's a funny compliment. Keep a sense of humor people.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

He's an idiot, but it's not like he was being serious. The PC crowd needs to relax when stupid nonsense like this happens. People have always said stupid things, or bombed when trying to make a controversial joke. The difference these days, is that the internet and 24 hour news cycle, lets the planet know about it. He's and dope, and who cares.

After seeing the movie "The Fighter", I'm hoping the Foxboro ICBM strays north and takes out Lowell instead.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

I just tried to work up some indignation over this tweet... and I couldn't. Who cares, it was a joke in slightly poor taste. No big deal.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

This thread is a good litmus test for people who are too uptight to shrug off an obvious joke that doesn't fit their sensibilities.

Exactly. What he actually said should be taken as a complement to the Patriots, really. The butt of the joke revolves around the fact that the Patriots are good. Whether it's actually funny is beside the point.

Ah, I can remember the good old days when people would take a statement like this in context and not blink an eye, much less be outraged by it as though Stevie was actually condoning the dropping of a bomb on an American city in any way, shape, or form. Used to be that only old ladies might react that way.

If I were to say something like "I'll kill anyone that has a problem with this," some people may call the cops because I threatened their life. Holy cow. The political correctness of it all. You can't really tell a joke like "a priest, and Irishman, and dwarf walk into a bar" type joke anymore in public. If you can't laugh at yourself...

Twitter is pretty gay, though.

so..you disparage the elderly, mock the priesthood, denigrate the Irish and slur the handicapped...and then finish it off with a gay insult...all this and your ignorance shines brighter than a megawatt bulb...that is NOT a compliment...but I'd hazard a guess that YOU are most likely a complement to anyone dressed in a white sheet...birds of a feather and what not....

It begs the question, do the other AFCE opponents suck simply because they are poorly run, or are they poorly run because they can't get past the Patriots and owners keep changing FO's and coaches because of it?

I think it's pretty simple. You need a quarterback, and the other AFCE teams don't have one. Dunno about Tannehill quite yet, but he'll never be a Hall of Famer. It's basically quarterback and coach...you have those two things, and you're good to go for a long time. Once you get a QB like Tom Brady, everything else is 100 times easier. No lie. There's a lot more to it, but you won't win consistently year-in and year-out without a quality QB.

Thank you for demonstrating EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I actually didn't denigrate or insult anybody. The insane level of political correctness many people expect makes everyone uptight.

LOL, I denigrated the Irish. That's a pretty outrageous thing to say. Show me exactly how I did that. I'd be curious to learn that. BTW, I'm part Irish, not as if that makes any difference. If you can't laugh at yourself, then I truly feel sorry for you.

I mocked the priesthood? Slur the handicapped? Wow. How'd I manage to to do that? Loosen your collar, bud. I'm racist for what I said now? Wow, just wow. Your analness shines through when you think it matters to correct my spelling. Again, thank you...it's your type of attitude that I was speaking to. Lots of fun. Yeah, everyone is the same version of the same robot...have a great time.

heh heh...aww....I've done it now...I've upset Uncle Bleat...I'll take your preceding post as a compliment....while you're here, try the complementary veal....:rofl2:

I ain't upset by you.

Although, with a name like Joker, you should probably develop a sense of humor...or at least loosen your tie.

4-7-13 The Buffalo Bills win the free agent jackpot signing high profile free agent North Korea to a contract..........later that fall............Patriots 41 Bill 10.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

Unless it is truly offensive like comparing how the owners treat their player to slavery or praising Osama Bin Laden as some players have done in the past

Is it bad that Mendenhall has done both of these things?

It's all a laugh riot until one realizes lil' Stevie is clearly nervous about the inevitable move of the Bills to LA (aka 3,000 miles closer to NK bombing range). :D

That was very well done! You can expect a visit from an internet police woman to issue a very special prize just for you. We hope you enjoy it.

Political correctness is always ridiculous. Some of you are in very bad need of a social life.
