Not a numbers guy, but I read 80. I don't think they will retire numbers (Troy Brown) and that # seems available, unless I'm missing someone. A google brings up some non performers.

It seems he feels this one has the tightness (tribute to one of our funniest ever posters IMO).

Congrats! Amendola wore #16 with the Rams so unless someone else has that number already, that's probably what he will get.

I have decided that when I do buy an authentic jersey, I am getting it custom made and putting my name on the back with the number 85 for the year I was born! I will get one for my son as well with the number 11 for the year he was born!

I bought my fiancee a Welker jersey three years ago that she doesn't want to wear now that Wes is gone. That really sucks for fans when they own jerseys of favorite players who leave.

Yea I bought my fiancee a Welker jersey, now I have to buy her a new one. Maybe and Amendola jersey. The custom I will buy will have my last name on it so it will never be obsolete. I try to buy jerseys where I know that players will be on the Patriots a while. The only mistake I made was Welker and Watson. Maybe I should stay away from players with the last name starting with W.

I would never wear the thing if I were you. Someone else might take a shot at it. You also could be mistaken for a fat wild boar, or perhaps a weasel, snake or skunk. Not worth the risk IMO.

I like them, I have a Hernandez Jersey I never had a Reebok authentic but I really like the Nike ones.

I actually enjoy my 'moved on' player jerseys. They're really nothing to be bummed out about.

It's a piece of the team's history, and presumably if you thought he was good enough to buy his jersey he accomplished something to look back on.

And if you're one of those guys that delights in buying jerseys of irrelevant players (in a relative sense), you have a rare jersey! My buddy's Izzo jersey is one of very few others when we go to games.

He also has Lonnie Paxton and Chris Hanson. He likes the little guys.
