Every year has some prospects that look a little fishy. What prospects do you think have the highest chance of being busts this year? A few off the top of my head:

Jarvis Jones
Alec Ogletree
Justin Hunter

I guess I'm just way to high on Justin Hunter, but I think he could really be a star in the NFL if he gets into the right system, aka, not the Jaguars. Yet it's almost impossible to know until we know.

I would hold off on judgment on Justin Hunter, personally I think he would be a great fit with the Pats.

I think if Arizona picks Barkley early, he will be one of the biggest busts. Seemingly every year teams bite early on QBs, and Arizona is where USC QBs go to die.

barkevious mingo
shariff floyd

Bark Mingo
Datone Jones

Bet ya a beer Jones has a better career than 4 fatties many around here like better; Hankins, Jenkins, Short and Jesse Williams.

Any QB the Jets draft? :snob:

Geno Smith
Ansah
Barkley
Keenan Allen

I think that there is going to be a high bust rate in this draft.

Just some of the guys who will be a bust in the first round/second round imo:

Eric Fisher
Geno Smith
Star Lotulelei
Datone Jones
Matt Barkley
Damontre Moore
Johnathan Hankens
Kevin Minter
Alex Okafor
Ryan Nassib

That would be my list of 1st round/early 2nd rounders that I expect to bust.

impossible to predict as we don't really know whats going on in these guys heads. I think the term Bust is used to liberally these days. To me a bust is somebody who is put in a situation to succeed but mentally comes up small. All these guys has the physical talent but some just can't put it all together.

the only "bust" I see will be Geno Smith because I believe he'll go to a bad team and be forced into a role he's not ready to assume. If he somehow were to drop to a team like the Eagles in the mid 20's (trade up) I see him being successful.

sam montgommery
damontre moore
alec ogletree
matt barkley

Cordarrelle Patterson

Dion Jordan- I don't get the hype as a top 10 pick

Ziggy Ansah- Huge risk/reward

Tavon Austin- Not sure if he has a defined role in the NFL

Kenny Vaccaro- Will be overdrafted as the top safety

- Mant'i Teo: I'm just not seeing the lateral ability to go sideline to sideline to be a 3 Down LB at the NFL Level. He may work as a Cover 2 LB but I think he's too limited speed wise.
- Eddie Lacy: He is a power back beast but I question his long speed and whether he can turn himself into Jamal Lewis or if he'll end up being a Natrone Means type (1 great year, a few solid ones, but not worth the 1st/2nd Round).
- John Jenkins: Is a load and could be a beast as a 3-4 NT but his weight will be a thing to keep an eye on. He said he played near the 370's(!) as a Senior but has slimmed down to 332.

Geno Smith to me.

Probably one of the tackles... I don't have any guess as to which. Just seems that there are plenty of examples of Mike Williams, Jason Smith etc.

I know it's stupid but I end up rooting for the guys with the cool names to do well. I agree with those taking Barkavious Mingo as a bust but I hope he does well. That's just a unique and cool name. Bacarri Rambo is another guy who although not a first I just don't think he'll be more than a JAG but I hope he does really well.

I like Star Lotulelei and Ziggy Ansah and hope they do well.

Cordarelle Patterson
Sam Montgomery
Matt Barkley
