i do not much mind what Stevie said, it was witty, though not quite very thoughtful

Your comedic standards are thoroughly demoralizing. But it might explain David Spade, thanks for that.

Clearly a joke and just another one of the times Stevie tries so hard to be funny that he doesn't think it through.

It's like he tries to be witty and then out-wits himself.

To wit would require a brain.

A bomb exploding in Buffalo might be an improvement.

I thought one already did.

I've got $50 that says Johnson couldn't find North Korea on a globe even with the country's name printed in block letters and a big red X marks the spot.

Evidently Kim Jun is a Bills fan.

That team has been bombing its entire existence.

That's why I said he tries to be witty. But all he ever manages is to be offensive and a mediocre comedian.

Agreed. It just gets in the way of the beautiful Toronto skyline.

Was Kimmie even alive the last time Buffalo went to the playoffs?

Shock humor inherently sucks and usually falls flat on it's face to anyone with an ounce of comedic wit, but I can't blame him for trying. Not sure why everyone is so offended, really. A bomb from North Korea hitting Foxboro would literally be the only way that the Bills would have a shot of winning the division this season. :D

You have to be dense not to be a fan of Stevie Johnson the WR. He's been a very productive, try hard, receiver for a very bad franchise for a long time. His occasional bouts with rampant immaturity have been well noted, but none of them would make him look any less good in blue and silver, and I'm sure there isn't a single rational Pats fan who wouldn't rather have him instead of Jenkins and Jones.

Besides if after being a career Bill, you didn't want something bad to happen to the Pats, I'd be thinking less of you as a competitor. If the 2 Pats games aren't circled on every Bills' players calendar, then you don't want that guy on your team.

Sure it was a bad joke. and probably in bad taste. Good thing none of us here has never done that.

re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

I don't know why people are so shocked. I mean to be fair to Johnson, it won't be the first bomb dropped in Foxboro seeing as though Stevie usually drops at least 2 to 3 of them every time he plays here.

Noting the follow up tweet, it sounds like he wouldn't mind playing in New England. Would be interesting to see how many opinions change should he suddenly request a trade or flirt with playing for the Pats.

Yeah people lighten up geez! Why so serious about a guy joking about a rogue nation dropping a nuclear bomb on an American city? Geez useful idiots spouting treason is always lighthearted!

Sweet sarcasm from a guy with the username "Ive_Killed_People" and who has the Comedian as an avatar.

This thread is a good litmus test for people who are too uptight to shrug off an obvious joke that doesn't fit their sensibilities.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

I think it's great he said this. Looks like a doofus and shows we must really be in Buffalo's heads.

Re: Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson to North Korea: "Bomb Foxboro, MA first!"

Stupid tweets, but I think people get too riled up with players tweets to begin with. Unless it is truly offensive like comparing how the owners treat their player to slavery or praising Osama Bin Laden as some players have done in the past. I really don't care what Stevie Johnson or any other player posts on Twitter except for maybe a laugh whether it was intentional or not.

who has praised Osama bin laden?

I think that he's talking about Mendenhall sending out a tweet that he was disappointed with Americans celebrating his death. I don't take that as praise either. But if Mendenhall is so disappointed over Americans celebrating the death of a mass murderer, he should probably go join them.

I thought it was pretty funny, hes obviously playing around and making light of an otherwise tense situation. People need to get a grip

I thought it was funny and complimentary. He doesn't want them Foxborough blown up because the Patriots suck. If sucking was his criteria then he would want Buffalo, NY, and Miami to be in the crosshairs.

It begs the question, do the other AFCE opponents suck simply because they are poorly run, or are they poorly run because they can't get past the Patriots and owners keep changing FO's and coaches because of it?

Well..NK did just move a missile to it's east coast and according to US officials...they are planning something...buffalo NY?

NK's current ICBM's have a range that barely includes California.
