I have some serious concerns about his durability. Pass.

well I know he had a sholder injury last year and his career stats say he's played 12 or more games each season except for 01 - 5 games and 06 - 9 games... so do you want to add some support to your claim? or justification?

He hasn't played a full season since 2001. I'd say that is cause for concern.

Springs is not a free agent. In fact I think he just signed a new deal.

people in DC talk about him like he's a stud. didn't you know all of their defensive problems last year were due to him being hurt?

did they cut him? he signed a 6 year deal in '04 and I can't find anything saying he's been cut. i can find speculation and articles saying they either need to renegotiate with or cut him, but nothing saying it's been done.

Again people post some support/evidence behind your reasons...

Let me see if I have the #'s right. $7.35M minus $4.875M should equal the AAV of the signing bonus ($2.475M), and then they must pay him an extra $2M if they chose to cut him. So the choice, as I see it, is either pay him $4.875 to play for the 'Skins this year, or pay him $4.475 to play for someone else... It seems to me that $400,000 doesn't buy too much in the world of professional sports, so why do it?

Why don't YOU "post some support/evidence behind" YOUR reasons? Springs is not even a FA, so why do you bring this up at all? Do you have a link to where it says he will, or even might, be cut?

I did. See my previous posts that include both statistics and links on this very same thread. It is it too much to ask you the difficulty of using the effort to scroll, click buttons, and maybe even think before you type?
