Their D is going to great next year.

Just like it was supposed to be last season.

They've lost Barwin, that will probably be a bigger loss than Reed is a gain.

LOL, that's a very reliable source, but I suppose this was reported elsewhere as well, so it's probably accurate.

Sounds ike good signing for Houston. I'm just glad he's leaving Baltimore.

Maybe in the long run, but not really especially since Barwin wasn't very good last year.

I find them reliable when reporting new developments. I don't care for their occasional ranking BS and other clown writers, but as far as breaking news go, they're as reliable as any other sports site.

I have never seen a Super Bowl team go into this much of an overhaul. On offense they lose their center and best WR, and I think their starting LT is a free agent. On defense, they lose Reed, Lewis, Ellerbee, Kruger, Williams, Pollard.

It was a great defense two seasons ago, a good last year before Cushing got hurt...a great front seven, Ed Reed improve that secondary.

Ed Reed is past his prime. He may improve their D but not considerably. Ravens fans were not pleased with his play last year.

They still don't have a franchise QB and the D isn't good enough to let them get away with it. AFC play off team but not on the same level as Pats/Broncos.

I agree. I don't see them being contenders.

They probably will have less wins then the Colts next year.

good news for us pats fans...Ravens D taking a big step back this year and we are playing them unlike houston. And come playoffs houston still has schaub. Win win for us that he went there

LOL No. I hope we play them again in the playoffs.

Why would you underestimate the Texans? Tom Brady has never enjoyed throwing against Reed and don't forget they still have JJ Watt who is a monster. Connor Barwin isn't a big loss for them as he had minimal impact last year.

On offense the Texans still have Andre Johnson and Arian Foster. Sooo. yeah, not a picnic for our defense to face either.

As for Reed. BB has admired him from afar for a long time. But McCourty is cheaper and already in the fold. He makes a pretty good FS. Adrian Wilson gives us our hard hitting SS combo. Didn't see Reed coming over after the Wilson signing.

Although I am luke warm to the Adrian Wilson signing, I never understood the whole idea that the current Ed Reed is anything special. At this point he is just an above average safety who has some injury issues. To be honest, I don't know how much of an upgrade he is from Glover Quin who actually played pretty well last year.

I don't.

Brady and Belichick will "over-respect" Reed and never take any shots near him because they fear what he used to be.
