If Lloyd does restructure - heard he was willing but haven't heard that he has - then I'm gonna have a hard time seeing Edelman coming back.
Which is a shame because I prefer Edelman to Lloyd.

I think Lloyd is getting a bit of a bad rap here. 74 catches for 911 yards and 4 TDs in year 1 with TB was decent production. No question his YAC was lousy but his catch % of 57% for a guy split out wide is decent. He did have 7 drops but that accounted for only 5% of his total targets so thats not too bad.
As it pertains to Edelman, I view he and Lloyd have different skill sets and both and him beeing a little more like Amendola. Either way, both have value in this offense. I'd like to see him back too.
He just doesnt get open enough. He has quickness to work in our system but the route running and selling the fake just isn't there.Edelmans problem is his durability....it just seems he suffers a season ending injury every single year.
I thought he looked solid as our #3 WR last year and was very fast/shifty....but once again he gets injured which derails what looked like was going to be a breakout year for him at receiver
Edelman never took snaps from Lloyd.Huh? when we saw Edelman last he was developing into a nice WR he was also taking snaps from Lloyd.:snob:
Depends on the price. If we have Amendola, Lloyd,Sanders and Jones at WR on a team with Gronk and Hernandez, Edelman isn't going to see WR reps.Even if Lloyd stays they should still target Edelman as WR depth and PR

On a 7th round rookie contract he was a great value. If it takes real WR paychecks to sign him, he is overpriced.
Jones is a 3 year NFL veteran who has outproduced Edelman with a terrible QB, and was given a 3 year contract. Why would he not pan out? This is assuming Jones will even pan out

Four confirmed concussions in college. Not a guy you want to be responsible for, especially not in the slot.I'd rather see the pats grab Ryan swope in round 3

Ocho was 10x the receiver Jones will ever be. It happens.
Some players just don't pan out in this system.
