Never again can the Patriots to expect a player to take a home town discount after what happened to Brady and Welker. If the team is going to nickle and dime them then I expect players to do the same to the team. No longer will players put up with that bullbleep; they will pull a Welker. I don't blame Welker one bit; enough is enough.

Broken record is broken.

Yeah, that $10M they paid him last year was a real slap in the face. And what "happened" to Brady, exactly?

I don't blame Welker either for going to the team that wanted to pay him more.
That's what it is.
I have no idea what Brady has to do with your rant. He decided to take less so that the team can spend more on other players. I'd suppose he's pretty happy they are so active in trying to spend it.

The Patriots offered him a near identical contract.

Wait ... it's, "starve a troll, feed a fever." I always get those confused.

Yeah because they are really screwing Tom over right now.

He gave them some money to Spend.

They tried with Wes, say what you want about what they should have given Wes but as far as Brady should be concerned is what they actually do.

They missed on Wes and immediately moved on and grabbed Amendola and Jones. They have reportedly Signed Sanders to an offer sheet. We are only a few days in too who knows what else they will do in FAency and through the draft.

Bottom line is you can have your opinions on the WR who left and the ones signed but its not like they took Brady's discount and pocketed it. They are getting Brady new toys.

This is the same stupid logic as they screwed Brady when Branch left when 7 months after Branch was gone Wes and Moss were in town.

They are not in any way shape or form out to screw Brady or leave him short on toys.

This afternoon caught a few minutes of Felger who was ranting and raving about discount prices at Wal Mart.. switched the channel quickly.

Brady when it is all said and done will have gotten just about 200 Million in earnings from this team, that will be second to Peyton's 225 million.. none of this is chump change..

What Welker was offered previously and he rejected was not chump change, what Welker got last year as a franchise was not chump change.. none of this is chump change..

Fred you sound like a cranky old man who can't find his teeth.

Exactly what happened to Brady and Welker? Lets look.

1. Poor Brady got screwed when he had to accept $3MM more in payment over the next 2 years. Now that's the kind of discount I'm looking to get.

2. Welker was disrespected when he was made to accept $9,3MM in payment when his true market was closer to below $7.

3. Wekler was once again disrespected when he was forced to turn down an insulting 2 year $16MM guaranteed offer that turned out to be ABOVE the market rate by $2MM/yr

4. ...and then the final insult, when the Pats were proven to be corect in assessing Wes' true market, they didn't wait around for him to come back with a counter. Those BASTARDS

OOOOHHHHH THE HORROR!

Is Curtis Mayfield from Dartmouth?

Your car dealer rants the same way every time you trade your car in for a newer model with less mileage

Didn't they offer last year I think a 2 year 16 Million contract to Wes? Now he's on a 2 year 12 Mil contract. 4 Million less this year than what he would have had. His greed got him out of NE and less money as well.

I still think Fred is really Steve from Fall River ... :bricks::bricks::bricks:
