Good for them. For him, not so good.

congrats to him......lets move on to real patriot news....

After we signed 2 WR's and reportedly a 3rd to an offer sheet I think that pretty much put the Jennings hope to rest

Aaron Rodgers to Christian Ponder. Nuff said.

Wasn't a huge fan of signing Jennings anyway.

While I'd love to see Jennings in a Patriots uniform his age is definitely a factor. New England wants to get younger and more explosive at the receiver position. Emmanuel Sanders while not as polished as a receiver as Jennings is right now, can, like Jennings, play all 3 receiver spots and offers a lot of the same qualities that Greg possesses along with above average return ability.

It remains to be seen what the contract details are, but he's likely priced himself out of the Patriots' price range with his demands. In my opinion, Emmanuel is a better fit for us at this stage of the game. The Patriots are smart to have made him the target instead.

The Vikings desperately needed to sign a WR of Jennings' caliber so they likely overpaid from a leverage standpoint.

He got a 5 year deal.

Please, if you want to continue starting threads, make the thread title on subject.

Probably wasn't coming to New England anyways. Glad he didn't return to Green Bay.

Ack..another whiff by the Patriots.

They are acting like they can draft a WR which is delusional. This is what happens when the coach is a GM and no one has the balls to question his personnel decisions. There is no way that BB will be able to draft the kind of WR that the Patriots need.

Not at all. They aren't and can not sign every player you have heard is good. Belichick is actually building a real football team, not one that you want to have on Madden 2014, but one that will compete for a championship.

10 million a year PASS.

$47.5 million contract, including $18 million guaranteed.

Figures.

No way he is worth it. Follow the big money WR deals and you will find the teams that aren't going to make the playoffs.

Pssst, I don't think you care, but you may want to know you are embarrassing yourself.
