I thought i would fill you all in on a little tidbit of info. i just dug up.

My sources tell me that Marty Shottenheimer a.k.a. "chokes mcgee" has been canned from the Chargers.

Now they are missing an O.C. , D.C. , and Head Coach.

Now that is how you run a team.

I guess if a guy is a proven loser and choke artist you aren't going to win with him anyways, so it's not that bad of a decision.

Indeed. It's INCREDIBLY ironic that after years of the Patriots being the reason the Colts didn't get to the SB, we were the reason they got there this year - and not just because of our issues in the AFCC game but because of us beating SD for them.

Marty has definitely had some trouble in the post-season - MUCH of it not as much his doing as advertised - but the guy has been too successful to make sweeping statements like "he $ucks!" It's silly and pointless to paint with such broad (not to mention wildly inaccurate) strokes. I like to think this board is better than that.

umm his coaching was pretty terrible in that game.

fine. He's a very good regular season coach.

He sucks as a coach in the playoffs.
