For a 6th round pick.

EDIT:
Before everyone goes bonkers complaining about it, consider the following.

-Boldin has been garbage for the past couple years minus these past playoffs
-Ravens were not just going to hand us a #1 wideout for a 6th
-Boldin has a moderately large contract
-Boldin hates the Patriots and I'm sure the Patriots hate Boldin
-He's old, unrpoven in our system, and would be replacing Welker

holy, that team is stacked. If they are able to land Revis........

Gore, Davis, Crabtree, Boldin, Manningham, wow.

looks like they are going all in to try and win the SB this year and not worrying about hte future too much. I'll be convinced of this if they do get revis

That team is so amazingly well run.

Interesting doing business with the team that just beat you in the SB.

49ers will be starting Crabtree, Boldin, Manningham and probably their first round pick WR from last year AJ Jenkins. Oh, and Vernon Davis as their TE.

Wow. Can't wait for the Sea/Niners games next year. Those two now have the most stacked rosters in the league. And they'll both be playing each other probably 3x a year.

Wow...SF and SEA were already looking pretty good before their major signings today of Percy Harvin and Anquan Boldin.

Well, the Niners had like 15 picks to use as ammo. To only have to give up one 6th rounder....holy smokes. Make no mistake, people, a really good team just got better. He'll help them a lot.

The NFC West is going to be a Yankees-Red Sox bloodbath between those two franchises. Should be great theater next year!

What's going on with NFC West? Couple of years ago it was the worst division with 7-9 division winner now they are stacked.

For a 6th round pick.

Sure, Boldin was "garbage" last season and still ended up out producing Brandon Lloyd, while having a significantly worse quarterback throwing him the football. And "Boldin hates the Patriots and I'm sure the Patriots hate Boldin" is just plain stupid. He would make the Patriots better, period. But since we didn't have a sixth round pick, I also wouldn't have given a third for him.

And no way in hell the Ravens were trading him in conference for only a 6th round pick

WOW just wow, glad we aren't in the NFC West! Arguably the best 2 teams in the NFL now, 9ers and seahawks that is?

Boldin was the #2 arguably #1 option on that team.
Lloyd was the #4, sometimes #5 option on our team.
Boldin would be paid like our #1 option.

Cap hit would be 6M. 1.5M over Lloyd.

They are. They are also benefitting from having a cheap rookie QB salary at the moment, which will likely change when they extend him after this season or the next.

In the meantime, they're loaded on draft picks this year so now would be a good time to make a run at Revis in my opinion.

Wow, Niners are stacked.

Both teams hinge on read-option quarterbacks lets see how good Cap and Wilson are after D-cordinators begin to slow down the read-option.

I think his base salary is 6 million. His cap for the 2013 season is 7.5 million, which is 3 million more than Llyod.
