All of us are going to have certain players that we'd wish to see pursued, and certain opinions on things that other posters don't agree with, so this is just a case of us having 2 different opinions.
I would disagree on Jenkins myself, you may feel differently.
I'd also disagree on the Cboys unit as a whole. I think that they have 2 very good up and coming outside CBs in Carr and Claiborne, and Carr not seeing as many targets was due to the rookie opposite him that many teams went after, along with the poor play in the slot of Jenkins. Their main problem is their safety play, which is terrible. That needs improvement immediately, along with their nickle CB, but their set on the outside very nicely. They should be with a 10 million dollar CB and a 6th overall pick in the draft.
If Belichick thinks that Jenkins can offer anything reasonable for a good cost, then he should definitely bring him in. I just don't personally see how he would be anything of an improvement over Arrington, who plays better in the slot. Either one of them can play outside worth a damn. I've seen games where Jenkins was the victim of deep plays 3-4 times in a row, and that was when he wasn't making DPI penalties. 2011 was a really bad season for him. I didn't see 2012 as quite as bad as 2011.
