he was a WR for us but i do not know a lot about him

someone can add something ?

if i remember correctly he was # 82 and Bledsoe was the qb at that times

i always thought he could have done more for us

From what I remember, he was one of Bledsoe's favorite targets for a couple of years.
I thought he had some tough injuries and kind of fell off the rotation.

if i remember correctly he had a 'verbal exchangement of opinions' with Drew in a game and Drew complained with him...

the tv showed it clearly...

ah yes, the infamous hamstring injury put him deep in Parcell's doghouse

I beleive a quote of Parcells was something along the lines of "I came back quicker from my heart attack (than Brisby did from his hamstring)"

I remember that game well.

It was the 1997 season when the Pats were at Jacksonville. I think Brisby ran the wrong route and Bledsoe was not afraid to let him know about it.

Whatever Drew said worked because the two hooked up for at least three catches on the ensuing two minute drive right before the half (which ended with a Ben Coates TD with 3 seconds left on the clock).

My memory isn't so clear of this game but I believe Brisby scored the game winning TD against the Chicago Bears in the regular season finale which clinched the playoff berth. THe Pats had started the year 3-6 and won 7 straight to make the playoffs.

Vincent "Ultimate" Brisby loved when Berman called him this

Ahhhh you beat me to it...ULTIMATE Brisby - what a name!!

He made some really cool catches, I recall great hands and I think he might have been awesome with Brady & BB running his career.

Who is Bledsoe to get on ANYONE about making mental lapses?

Another classic Tuna quote came when, during his 1st TC in 1993, he called out LB Chris Singleton and told him that he would give Singleton $20 if he could make just one solo, open-field tackle.
Singleton never collected the money, just his pink slip.

Didn't Brisby drop two consecutive passes, including one in the end zone, during their loss in the POs to BB's Browns? They had to settle for a FG, too.

I must have missed something. Why all the Vincent Brisby posts? Did he die?

Brisby was my favorite Pats player during that time. I always thought he'd turn out to be more than he did and people always gave me crap for my unyeilding hope in the guy.

Brisby dropped more passes than I care to remember. Always frustrated me about him.

How about Irving Fryar with BB and Brady?

Parcells never should have traded Fryar before the 1993 season. He was coming into his own as a player, and as a man.

Fryar retired after the 2000 season, so he would not have been able to play with BB and TB.

Fryar was my favorite Pat then, i was disapointed that he went to Miami of all teams.

So did Singleton, and if I recall correctly he was pretty decent for them.

i'm with you - i think with Brady a receiver like him would have been terrific

I beleive that Bledsoe was being rushed ,he wanted Brisby to come back for the ball,or his route was something like that,he didnt,Bledsoe got smoked and he was pissed.I remember him going after Brisby, something you didnt see a lot from Bledsoe.Dont remember who they were playing ,or if they won.Does that sound right or is my memory failing ?
