A draft game just for fun because I'm bored and would be interested to hear what people have to say. Pats have the #1 overall pick and they cannot trade out......Mayo would have at least a dozen trades more than filling every need and pushing picks into next year to boot. You can do it two ways. Who would you like to see the Patriots take and who do you think they would take.

I have a feeling that Floyd would be their guy. I'd be okay with that.

I agree even though I'm not sure in another year he's top 5. If they weren't all set at LT I think they would take one of the big 3. I think teams at the top would gladly take a discounted return to move down. Being at #10 you would get the same caliber of player.

I'd take Dee Milliner.

They're only paying Solder about $2M a year, so I'd at least entertain the notion of taking Joeckel and sliding Solder over to RT.

I think his arms are too short for the Pats. I'd take Ziggy but I suspect it would be between two for the Pats - Star Lotulelei depending on health as a future Wilfork replacement or Lane Johnson and his unreal athleticism. I'd be happy with all three.

Sheldon Richardson (maybe Star Lotulelei if the medicals check out)

Until we learn why he has such a low ejection fraction (not far above the normal cutoff for early heart failure), I would argue he should be considered undraftable.

I think it would be Star, joeckel/fisher or Ziggy Ansah

Luke Joeckel and let Vollmer walk have 2 young studs at Tackle

Although he's not a true #1 pick I would probably take Milliner. Aside from all his physical tools what I like the best is he finds and plays the ball when it's in the air. A lot of times his coverage was no better than what Patriot CB have but he got his hands on it.

So where has Mayo gone this time ? I never saw anything about him leaving again.
