Has anyone stolen your heart yet?

Cooper from the get go.

Wheaton is the man. Loved his film and his combine just solidified the man crush. He just did everything well. I'd feel very comfortable with the Pats taking him.

Hopkins just recently. He just seems like a powerful wr that will get those catches you have to have.

Swearinger,Thomas,Rhodes.

Michael Williams had me at hello. He is #1 but there are a few I flirt with; Barrett Jones (yeah I like my big Bama boys), Justin Hunter, Da'Rick Rogers, TJ McDonald, Vince Williams, Matt Barkley.

Michael Williams - the TE from Alabama??? I ask because there is also a CB from Portland St. who is available in this draft..

Yeah the Bama TE. I think he will be the best blocking TE in the NFL from day 1 and I love the way he lines up as a lead blocker in the backfield too. Does a great job getting to the second level and helping break big runs for the RB. People can talk about Warmack, Jones and Fluker all they want, but this guys is a much a reason for the success of Ingram, Richardson and Lacey as any of them. He is also an elite character guy too and built to be a Patriot.

He may not have the longest career. But, I love to watch Matt Elam. He plays like a crazy SOB. Which is something BB may not like. He'll let you free-lance. But, you better make some plays. Doubt he wants that in a rookie. For the most part, I can't stand skill-position players. I want to punch them in the mouth as soon as they start talking about themselves. There are exceptions, but you get my point. Love me some Chance Warmack. John Hannah was my favorite player as a kid. And, he reminds me of him. Just a lot bigger. I like Kawann Short from Purdue. They've started to produce some pretty good front 7 players. And, aren't the chest-pounders who turn me off. I also like Sylvester Williams at UNC. Until the Heisman and fake girlfriend story. I liked Te'o. Even though I can't stand ND. Now, I lump him in with the rest of the golden knob polishers.

And, Elam runs an un-official 4.46! That's my boy!!

I forgot. Honey Badger ran a 4.43. That's a nickel back and punt returner.

Detroit went from the luckiest team with Millner fitting their biggest need, to terrified after that 40 and Stars heart defect. I dont know if he goes top 4, but with the mixed bag of talent at the top, he could easily sneak in.

Philly gave up 33 td's and only had 8 int's. Passer efficiency rating of 99.6 DRC is an UFA. They are asking Nnamdi to take a pay cut. My guess is there.

Once bullied, tackle prospect Gilkey eyes NFL draft - chicagotribune.com

Gilkey said, "I'm starting an anti-bullying campaign. I have such a great opportunity to be proactive and be encouraging and be a strong force within the community of the west suburbs of Chicago. I plan on being proactive with schools and junior highs and YMCAs, and talking about bullying.

"I think I have a great position, being my size, and standing up and talking about my experience being bullied, being ostracized and being made fun of. People see me now and think, 'How could this person ever be bullied?' I have a great voice and great platform to share those experiences and share my faith, as well."

I don't care if he ends up a Patriot or not, this is the kind of guy you just root for.

trade down
Chris Harper WR
Jordan Poyer CB
Vance McDonald TE
Leon McFadden CB
Devin Taylor DL

The only guy that I really would like to see in a Pats jersey next season is OT/OG/C Barrett Jones of Alabama.

But I doubt BB sees him as value at #29.

I waffle back and forth on CB Rhodes of FSU as value at #29 as well.

Next to them, except if someone slides, ala Wilfork did years ago, I think we are better off trading back.

Not really enamored with any wr's in the first I take it?

I think Rhodes would be a fine pick at 29. One of the few press corners with the size you like to see. Showed off some speed today running in the 4.4 range with a monstrous 40 inch vertical with a outstanding broad jump. May have worked himself into the top 25 though.

Casserley was saying Rhodes was a 10-15 guy even before he did his drills at the combine. He could be the 2nd CB off the board after Banks underwhelmed today.

In terms of defensive guys:
Kawann Short, Jordan Poyer (who played Safety at the Senior Bowl), Zaviar Gooden, Desmond Trufant

Ziggy Anash. I don't care how hard it would be to draft this guy but I want him bad. The fact that many mocks have him going to the Giants only makes me want the Pats to trade up.

He's not going to the Giants either. I think he's a Top 12 pick by now.
