Hey idiot,

The Broncos beat you twice in nine months by a combined score of 44-20!

They are better than you.

What meltdown did they suffer? Two seasons ago, bad calls by officials turned a game completely around.

This past season, another pair of bad pass interference calls, a fair sized contingent of players who came down with the flu and clearly felt the effects, a couple of ridiculously easy passes dropped by Caldwell, and a horrible decision to pass the ball rather than run when setting up for the tying field goal turned a win/tie into a loss.

This team is the best team in football, right now. If they play the Colts 10 times, they win 7. If they play San Diego 10 times, they win 6. Nobody else is even in the same league as these three teams right now. Now they are going to add more players with the cap space they have, and you'd have to think that it's time they catch a break from the injury bug.

This team doesn't need a bye. It needs an even game called by the officials and to not get the flu, and it would have been 4 straight titles and 5 in 6 seasons.

Nice way to join a board. You must be a Charger fan, still feeling the sting of being a first seed and having it taken away from you. Good luck next year with your loss of coaches and having to rely on Marty to take you to the promised land.

Have a Nice Day!

Try not to be more of a troll than necessary. New England led the Broncos in the playoffs, before the phantom pass interference call in the endzone. And, the game would have been completely different if Bailey had been ruled to fumble the ball through the endzone.

I know you Colts fans are still high on moonshine from celebrating your fortuitous victory, but try not to get so stoned that you get silly. The Titans, Jaquars and Texans all beat the Colts the last time those teams faced off. Are they all better than Indianapolis? The Texans beat the Jaguars twice last season, are they better than Jacksonville?

Or maybe it was the fumble by Faulk that gave Denver the ball. Or the fumble by Hobbs on the ensuing kickoff. Or the 3 turnovers thereafter. Or the missed FG by Vinatieri. It WAS a meltdown.

Dropped passes and bad decisions (not to mention a ridiculously bad 12-men in the huddle penalty), to go along with giving up 32 points in the 2nd half was one of the worst meltdowns I've seen this team suffer. Again, ANOTHER meltdown.

This team is the best team in football, right now.

No, the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS are the best, and they've been better than the New England Patriots for 2 seasons now. They have the Lombardi now and the best record in the league the last 2 years. How can anyone argue differently? Hey, it pains me to say it but that's the truth until we can prove otherwise.

Sorry, but the last 2 Pats teams have not been SB-caliber. They have had a bad record against quality opposition and it has cost them a bye the last 2 years. The Pats can't control their destiny by going on the road in the playoffs. Stay at home, stay rested then there's no air travel, no flu and no games against good teams in THEIR stadiums.

Still whining about the refs, I see.

Final score: Broncos 27, Patriots 13

Bye bye!

I'm not whining about the refs. It's a part of the game. However, that doesn't mean that they didn't play a crucial role. Or do you not remember your game against Pittsburgh?

8 October 2006 Tennessee Titans W 14-13
3 December 2006 Tennessee Titans L 17-20

By your logic, then, you're no better than the Titans.

Have a nice day, troll. :)

Everybody in the world knows that the Broncos are better than the Patriots. I watched that playoff game last year. The Broncos KILLED you!

You're lucky the score was "only" 27-13. It could have been much worse.

Last chance, troll: by your argument, two losses in a year means the Broncos are a better team than the Pats. By extension, I argue, your team is no better than the Titans. You have yet to respond. [And, BTW, does that mean that if the Texans beat the Colts next fall, THEY are the better team?]

It will be very difficult for the Pats.

You guys talk about receivers, offensive play calling and everything else, but the biggest reason why it will be difficult is the fact that your defense can't stop the Colts at all. End of story. You may give up 12 points a game to everyone else, but you can't stop the Colts. You can't even slow them down. Samuel may be gone and the heart of your defense, Bruschi and Harrison, may not have many good days remaining, so I don't see how it gets better.

You also have a brutal schedule and have to play the Colts in Indianapolis. That game will likely determine home field. Without home field, it will be very difficult for the Pats. Home field is a long shot with your schedule.

Also, Brady has been coming up short the past two years in big games. This season, he threw 4 TDs and 10 INTs vs. division winners, including 1 TD and 5 INTs vs. the Super Bowl champs.

It's called retooling, like the Red Sox went out and got Schilling and Foulke to beat the other half of your login name. You expect the Patriots to stand still with their "favorable" cap space positioning?

* For the 2007 season, on Feb 11th, no team is better than another.

That was the first time the Titans beat the Colts in 8 games.

That was the first time the Texans have ever beaten the Colts in 5 years.

There is a law of averages when it comes to division games. It's a strange phenomenon, like how the Dolphins can always beat the Pats no matter how pathetic the Dolphins are.

When you win the Super Bowl however, you don't care.

You have to admit that the Broncos own the Pats though. I don't know if the Broncos are a better team league wise, but they have the Pats number.

Haha, where to begin.

In 2005, how anyone considered that a good prime time game I don't know because you Colt fans are friggin stupid if you think that's a real Patriot team you beat out there. 06 On the other hand, that's a different story. You guys earned your victories. But to say the Pats cannot stop the Colts? Uh, sure. You guys were held to 3 point in a half. 3. Why did you guys go nuts? Because the ONE weak area of our defense we have is the middle of the LB core, Indy exploited that. All NE has to do is add speed and the mismatch is nonexistant. Manning wont beat our secondary, and he wont handle our pressure. Keep in mind, your team also played us with half the team with the flu, just coming from SD, the road also hurt NE.

If NE can secure home field, they'll be fine. That's what makes a rivalry, I think the home team will always emerge as the succesful one in this rivalry. You talk as if your Colts will even compete. Look at the Bucs and Steelers first. Before you think about it, how will your team handle picking dead last, short off season, players feeling content, losing pieces to an already crumbling defense, and your own division getting better?

Yeah, 2 years ago everybody said that the Pats own the Colts - does that kind of thing last forever?

Your right about division games, and you have a point with the Broncos owning us. I firmly beleive if the refs didn't make BS calls and we didn't have 5 friggin TOs, the Pats could have EASILY three peated. The Pats controled that game untill they choked it away.

Yeah, 2 years ago everybody said that the Pats own the Colts - does that kind of thing last forever?

Well, the donkies have handed it to us for decades now, thank god the AFC usually does not come between us :D

1. The Colts whipped the Pats in the second half. As I recall the score was 21-6 Pats at half time. I won't cry that a million things could've made it different. Plain and simple 21-6.

2. You're crazy if you think the Pats aren't trying to anticipate two things next season and address them with personnel:

a. How to matchup with the Colts passing attack as well as running.

b. How to matchup with the Chargers running attack.
