Good Indication Tommy Will Be Here Awhile

I don't get it, why would they want to build here? Their $20 million mansion in L.A. was just finished. Maybe Tom want the option of running for political office in either state.

Not a bad idea to have a West Coast home and an East Coast home (aside from the Manhattan and other pads). Think of the marketing capabilities he would have in New England when he is done - - Bruschi times 10.

I think Bobby Orr made more from the old Bank of Boston when his career was over than all the money combined he ever made from the Bruins.

He could buy Drew Bledsoe's old house in Medfield. Schilling put it up for sale cheap.

It's closer to Foxborough. Not a whole lot to do in Medfield, but it is kind of beautiful out there.

Some other neighbors voiced concerns about the project, including how construction could affect traffic in the area.

There's a phrase/name for people like this, but mentioning it would get me a lifetime ban.

Sometimes I wished I lived in a homeowners association just so I could pick a fight with those types.

Could be although the separate yoga studio is a little weird (although I believe Gi does yoga to keep in shape...).

Breer's brother is a realtor in the area and a while ago Bert tweeted that the Brady's were already out of the Back Bay condo and in a home in suburban Boston. I assumed it was probably in that property they were rumored to have put money down on in the fall of 2010 just before Ben was born. Although at the time it was reported they had decided to hold off between the new baby and the house in CA being built. That house was in the same neighborhood as the Kraft's, too. But not as much land.

He will live here 6 month of the year for the next 4-5 years at least. Needs a home that is exclusive and secure. I know there are cheaper options closer to the stadium, but it's the security of an exclusive enclave like the Kraft estate neighborhood that these two need. The condo was fun but no place aside from the roof for the boys to play. Tom's used to the commute from Back Bay to Foxboro, Brookline cuts 10 minutes off that commute. Plus you could car pool with a Kraft...;)

Excuse me for being skeptical...

The Boston Herald has reported speculation that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen are interested in building a house on the property.

Ian's added a great new "ignore thread" function. It's under "thread tools".

+1. You're exactly right, TomPatriot.

I just deleted the 11 subsequent posts regarding the scintillating topic of Florida and it's HOAs. For the folks who want to discuss Florida and it's HOA's, there are other forums for that.

And he added OTHER forums to discuss the State of Florida and its HOA's.

This thread is about Tom Brady and Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

If I say that Tom Brady has a yoga studio that's as big as my apartment, will you send me to Florida too, Shmessy? *looks out of window* Please, Shmessy!

I might just slip in there and buy that plot out from under him.

LOL :D . No. Deleting is far less expensive.

As long as your post is on topic, it is fine.

We had a couple of posters here who decided to go into detailed posts about Florida homeowner's association bylaws, Florida politicians, and drilling for oil off of the coast of Cuba. They were warned that they were hijacking a thread into a completely irrelevant and peripheral discussion, which they ignored. So, their irrelevant posts were deleted.

Your post, however, commenting on the size of Tom Brady's proposed yoga studio is completely on subject. Well played!
