What is the probability of Ed Reed being a Patriot?

Thats the kind of toughness you need to beat teams like the Giants. Not puxxies like Devin "The Matador" McCourty. Please dont insult Ed Reed comparing him to "The Matador"

Terrible. Just terrible.

now with a ring? 0.0% chance. He will retire a raven like he should

Very good for 15 mil for 1 year.

His twin brother is no prize either.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Thats the NE secondary. Like waiting for Dowling to become a playmaker.

Don't watch much of the Titans but my understanding is that Jason McCourty is a solid player.

I don't really know what point you're trying to make with the cliche. Everyone knows the secondary talent has been inadequate in recent years. That certainly doesn't mean McCourty is part of the problem and not the solution, nor are the two positions by any means mutually exclusive.

10% chance, krafty won't pay him what he wants...so we'll get steve Gregory part deux in fa....

Ravens 40%, Colts 20%, Pats 20%...retirement or other team 20%

would love to have him here for 2 years.

Saints? It's his home town and favourite team and they're not good at the position.

Don't argue with Triumph. It's not worth it. Every player who has ever played in the Pats' secondary, along with every player with the same last name as a player who has ever played in the Pats' secondary, will always be a terrible player that should not be in the NFL.

Reed is nothing like McCourty and thats why the Pats need him.

How many times have you see Reed get fined for over aggressive play? He got fined $55,000 for cracking Victor Cruz this season. What does a 55k fine tell you? That the 10k and 20k fines didnt even phase Reed for his style of play.

I forgot, you're McCourty's biggest hater, aren't you??

I doubt Reed wants to sign here after Brady almost spiked him. Reed said he accepted brady's apology, but on Sound Fx you can clearly hear Reed complain to the officials that "Brady saw me coming" and then "stuck his leg out." In reed's view brady tried to deliberately lead with his spikes in order to protect himself (and almost hurt reed).

Read that he and Harbaugh hugged it out on the way to the bus today and Harbaugh says he thinks they will work it out. Ozzie may have something to say about that. Ed likely wants to come back for the victory lap and in Ray's absence when he will be the elder statesman. But he equates respect with $$ so it remains to be seen if they can afford him.

You obviously missed the contract the Titans gave to Jason McCourty.

I don't think that will have anything to do with Reed's decision. But my big concern is, he's a longtime Raven, so would he really go off to the Pats?? The only way I see him coming here is if Baltimore either really lowballs him or simply doesn't give him an offer.

It really wouldn't make any sense at all.

Leaving the team he's defined his career with for their hated rival, whom they just beat to advance and win the SB?

Maybe if they lost to the Pats and he realized his best chance at a ring was with us that would make sense, but the reality of the situation is different.

Some strong rumors have it that Ed Reed will be signing with the Colts and reuniting him with his old coach.

The Colts had a horrid safety play in 2013 and want to shore it up.

Looks like a perfect match for them.

It's a good job the replays showed that Brady wasn't wearing spikes then, just a pair of trainers :p

Reed will likely play for whichever contender offers him the most money.

That would have absolutely nothing to do with him coming here or not. :bricks:

He has a ring, so why should he do brady any favors by signing here? Brady almost ended the guy's career - if brady connected with reed's leg and took him out of the SB, reed would no incentive to sign here and help the pats.
