I would put some money on it

I thought the Pats got the steelers at home next year? Didn't think they played both.

They play division winner of all AFC divisions. Denver and Hou at home and Balt on the road.

Pats play the AFC North next year.

Home: Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Browns, Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Buccaneers
Away: Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Ravens, Bengals, Texans, Falcons, Panthers

next year is going to be tough

I hope so. Ed Reed's return to Baltimore to take on the champs. No better way to kick off the season.

Pretty much a lock.

It'd be a huge bonus to go down there and get a win. I think it would be a Thursday night game, too.

It would go along with the whole getting fed to the lions theme that happens a lot with champions hosting at home. Mainly I'm thinking of the Celtics when the Heat won the Finals and when the Lakers won their most recent one.

It will and should be the Steelers, that's their rival, not us.

It’s between the Steelers, Texans, Packers and us. You got to think the first night of football is going to get big ratings anyway, so part of me thinks they aren’t gonna want to “waste” a good matchup on opening night, but then again the Ravens have 4 home games that could be considered “good matchups”.

Packers – Big fan base, big ratings, good matchup, Aaron Rodgers coming to town.
Texans – Supposed to be the trendy, up and coming AFC team ready to make their move (Or so they say)
Steelers – Arch rivals, Big Ben, huge fan base, the whole notion that the Ravens get to STICK it to their rival by getting rings and banners on opening night
Patriots – Team of the decade, Brady, re-match of the AFC title game and a budding little rivalry.

My gut feeling is that it WILL be Patriots-Ravens. It will tell us A LOT if this team is FINALLY reading to man up or not.

Game 1 of a new season really won't give us an idea if they are going to man up...we will find that out a few weeks in..not the first game
