Like a lot of us, I’ve been limping around for the last week wondering if the pain below the belt is ever going to go away. Let’s face it, when you have Tom Brady at quarterback and Bill Belichick as coach anything less than a Superbowl is a disappointment.
So it might not be the best time to be upbeat. But I see that I now have 4,999 posts and I can’t let it pass without saying how much I appreciate this board. It must be ten years now that I’ve been coming here. I remember my first post was to link that famous article by the late Joel Buchsbaum before the 2001 season headed “Patriots Most Set Up For Failure”.
Since then, a lot of posters have come and gone. Some I miss badly, others … well, not so much. But the board is still here and through it all Ian has been loyal, patient and sensible. So thank you, Ian, thank you, everyone. There’s always next year.
Oh … and Steve DeOssie: I think of you the way you obviously think of New England. :bricks:
And the Jets … STILL SUCK!
