The Raven's beat us on Sunday but we have an opportunity to show a response in the offseason that would go a long way in making sure they don't get passed us in 13-14.

The Ravens priority this offseason is going to be resigning Flacco. This will eat up a lot of their resources and likely their franchise tag.

That leaves the following players as UFA or RFA,

Ed Reed FS
Dannell Ellerbe LB
Paul Kruger DE/OLB
Dennis Pita TE
Cary Williams CB
Bryant McKinnie OT
Albert McClellan LB
Ryan McBean DT
Arthur Jones DE/DT (RFA)
Ed ****son TE

There is no way the Ravens can retain these players. I've highlighted the ones I'd love to see us take a run at.

Paul Kruger apparently wants $9m a year so he will likely end up at some perennial loser unless he lowers those demands.

Arthur Jones would be worth a look if he's tagged at 2nd round or later, Williams would be ok depending on how much money he wants and Reed is pretty much a no brainer.

We're not exactly abundant in cap space either, so I'd rather worry about filling needs than raiding the Ravens. It's also particularly hard to tell with Baltimore defenders like Ellerbe if they're good individual players or just thrive in Baltimore's system. The last time we thought we found a Baltimore linebacker who was a good individual player it didn't end well.

Interesting...I particularly liked what I saw from Ellerbee. He seems pretty stout, is disruptive and was around the ball a lot.

Adalius Thomas checking in to say screw humble pie when you can have some of my tasty barbecue sauce.

Pass on raiding the Ravens, but atleast they are taking a hit for 2013. Flacco is going to eat up most of their 15 million in cap space. They are going to lose Lewis, Reed, and Kruger most likely.

A huge bonus would be their losing the Super Bowl.

As much as I hate the Ravens, I'll be cheering for the 49ers to lose. I absolutely can't stand Kaepernick, that coach and all their bandwagon fans.

Staying relevant to the thread, I'd like to see us get Ed Reed.

If Balt loses both Ray Lewis AND Ed Reed that team is in trouble.
