As for Ray and Anna's comments relating to him, Ray was a guy who valued his street cred above all else until it almost cost him his career and any post career ambitions. He adapted his act to maintain all three and two murderers got off in the process. Thugs, bible thumpers and fans of football as entertainment all relate to him equally. The league and the networks are prepared to embrace him as a beacon of redemption. Personally I've seen enough of his tears, his theatrics, not to mention his tonsils and nostrils thanks to NBC last evening, to last a lifetime. I'm sure he has done some good. Most NFL stars are conditioned to these days. I generally root for the NFC when we aren't the last AFC team standing. This post season will be no different.
