Bill Belichick's Post Game Press Conference Transcript
By: Ian Logue

Here's what Bill Belichick had to say following the Patriots AFC Championship loss to the Ravens Sunday night....

Must admit, its a very difficult thing for a coach to speak at a press conference after such a loss, Props to BB . I for one would go into hiding after such a loss and come out of hibernation during the draft :bricks:

It kind of pisses me off that Sharpe took shots at Belichick about not doing a postgame interview immediately following the game.

Belichick and Brady hate to lose. There is a reason they hate doing these interviews. It is the same reason that makes them so good. They hate losing.

Anything Sharpe thinks he is entitled to.....I would say. Well I can't say it so I will leave it at that. But Sharpe is not entitled to anything. If he thinks he is....he should just call it a day and give up his broadcasting job. Personally, I have heard enough from him. Just my 2 cents.

What Sharpe said, is one the reasons he doesn't talk to these hack reporters, who manipulate anything controversial. They all threw him under the bus over "Spygate". BB never forgets or forgives. If he tells them nothing then theres nothing to twist! He was at his mandatory presser.

I said it in another thread, but Sharpe said Belichick's a poor sport. I hate to state the obvious, but the reporter Did Not Play in the game. The expectations of sportsmanship is the coaches and players congratulate each other after the game, which they did, and I would say quite sincerely. Harbaugh said Kraft stopped by to congratulate them. Is he a poor sport because he didn't do it on camera for CBS?

Look, CBS is potentially the rude one: butting in on the locker room for useless news bites, while the team and its staff take care of business at the end of their season. If CBS wants to be part of the emotion of the locker room, then get Tasker into playing shape to be on the team, or arrange a documentary ahead of time. If not, then sit and wait for the prescribed press conference as according to the NFL media rules.
