..thank you

Just to clarify with everyone what was posted. It's a Bold prediction segment where the analysts make outrageous predictions. It's just a light hearted segment. Not serious.

of course it is a bold prediction!!

but it is based on evidence...

Was watching NFLN about a 1/2 hr ago Deion and Willie Mac were going back and forth on "Ray Lewis is the QB of the defense" bla bla.

Willie Mac incorporated a few "we will do this...." in his responses.

Love it!

Jeez Kurt, get over 2001 already!!

I would love to see Flacco out there playing CB or Safety.

Seriously, it's not an apple to apples comparison unless they are playing the same defense.

The looks on the faces of the other three guys at that desk.........

(Even Marshall Faulk.....)

blashempy! Suggesting the patriots lose or play subpar makes you a hater and butthurt!

No kidding. There is nothing bold about it. With the exception of the 2009 Divisional game, you could make the arguement that Flacco has outperformed Brady in almost all of the matchups.

No offense but this sentiment is ridiculous. Tom brady has had to face a pretty decent ravens D whereas joe flacco had to throw aganst an atrocious patriots pass defense led by sterling moore and antuan molden.

Agreed that Brady has faced a superior defense but that doesn't change the fact that vs the Patriots, Flacco has had some pretty darn good games.

Every quarterback has had very good games against the patriots stat wise. .

Another example of how stats are completely irrelevant as we have a 13-4 record this year...

It looks like Warren Sapp is taking a crap in his pants and he knows he is naughty, again!!!

That is an overgeneralization. This is an improved defense.

The person you were responding to only drops in to talk crap about the Patriots and never adds anything other than that to any discussion.

Personally, don't care. But my bold prediction for the day is that someone on the NFL Network will make at least one intelligent point today. I know I am going out on a limb here, but I think at least one of them can do it.

The NFL Network pregame crew are a bunch of ESPN rejects and ESPN still employ bozos like Cris Carter.

While fans can be oversensitive that is really different than valid criticism of the so called analysts who are simply talking sh.t, and Warner falls into that category. Tom Jackson has no love for the Patriots but he can still look at the facts and discuss their strengths and weaknesses in an intelligent manner. Guys like Warner and Faulk ignore the facts and repeat tired old memes that they love over and over. The Patriots have a both a better run game and a better defense statistically than the Ravens but Warner and Faulk will still invoke both to support their arguments that Baltimore will win, and that is just ignorant. They can make a good argument that the ravens play the Patriots tough but to take that and claim that they have the Patriots number when NE is 7-2 against them and 2-3 over the last 3 games, including the farce in Baltimore earlier this season, makes them look really ignorant.

To look at it another way, if both SF and NE win today then Patriot fans should not have any gripe if the media is analyzing the game and giving the advantage to SF because they have earned that advantage by their performance both on the season and with their win over NE in NE. The argument they will be making is solid and based in fact, whereas the arguments made for the Ravens this week have been neither.

Agreed. Only Willie Mac is respectable even though he's been guilty of spewing some outlandish statements.

This is true but you really have to take into account that most of Flacco's career against NE was played while Belichick was in rebuild mode. Now that their defense has been rebuilt it will be the games going forward that will be a better gauge of how good he is against them. If flacco can go out and have a good game against them today it will definitely increase my respect for him substantially, and if they manage to win it i will give flacco and the Ravens all the credit in the world for coming into Foxborough and beating a really good Patriots team. I really don't like excuses but the fact that they had Edelman, Ihedigbo, and Sergio Brown in the seecondary really makes for easy pickings for any QB, and we have all seen that. Belichick's ability to get them to the SB swith that secondary last year was as impressive as getting them to the AFC championship against Indy in 2006 with Reche Caldwell as their No 1 receiver. Last year's secondary was the worst secondary I have ever seen.
