STRENGTHS: Showed intensity and leadership qualities at Shrine Game practices, playing with a high level of energy. Excellent flexibility and agility for the position. Stays low with good fundamentals. Natural athleticism and fluidity, displaying the coordination and smooth hips to play in space. Lean, athletic frame, and does a nice job of playing balanced and low to the ground. Nonstop motor and brings constant energy to the field.
WEAKNESSES: Tends to lower his head, keeping his eyes in the wrong place. "Small-school" prospect will need to shed concerns over level of competition he faced in college. Room to improve his instincts and get stronger to improve his stack-and-shed ability.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there are a hell of a lot of really intriguing guys in this draft? Maybe not many blue chip players, but loads of "diamond in the rough" guys for those smart enough to find them.
i agree completely mayo it seems like this draft is just so close in its overall talent. not very many elite players but so much depth i feel like john simon is a big option being from ohio state with vrabel 2 time captain and great leadership wouldnt be surprised if hes our second round pick what time is the senior bowl on anyway

That's just a few of some of the really intriguing guys in this year's draft. I'm willing to guess there are some future Pro Bowlers in that group.

Phil Savage, the executive director of the Senior Bowl, said Fluker and Pugh had to meet certain criteria in order to be eligible to play in the game. First, the players had to have been with their college teams for four years. The players also had to have graduated before Dec. 31 and have get permission from their college coach to be eligible.
Another note re Savage: for the first time, the Senior Bowl has allowed 2 underclassmen in, OT's Justin Pugh and DJ Fluker:

It sounds like Savage is being very careful about opening the door to underclassmen:
The biggest thing that sticks out to me is that he's got real measurables on Hunt. Legit 6'8", 272 pounds, and 4.77 40Russ Lande discusses 5 intriguing prospects from the Senior Bowl:

Lot of buzz among sideline scouts about cb L McFadden SD State
Leon McFadden/CB/SDSU looks really good. Really good.
According to an Alabama blogger, D.J. Fluker met with the Patriots today. Interesting guy to potentially replace Vollmer.
