There has been, and always will be a storyline or two going into the week after the conference game and a week before the SB

What Storylines do you hope to see and what do you not want to see?

1) I would love to see the reunion of Asante Samuel vs. his old team come up in the news because that means NE is playing Atlanta

2) Brady up against his childhood team the 49ers and right near where he grew up would make a nice story

Storylines I don't want to see....

1) The Harbowl and watching Mom and Daddy Harbaugh and the whole Harbaugh clan getting together for some scenes from Jim and John's childhood and into the NFL :scream:

2) A Marathon day spent just of Ray Lewis and his retirement and highlights from his collegiate days at Miami, then into the pros winning his first SB and scenes of where his murder took place ;)

There's only one Superbowl story I am interested in reading after the fact;

1. Brady wins record tying 4th Superbowl to cement himself as the GOAT.

You beat me to the punch. That's the only story that will matter.

In the coming days after Sunday, I wouldn't mind hearing about anything Patriots related, because that will mean that they won the game and are heading towards N.Orleans.

I'd have a hard time imagining 2 back to back SB losses, and I think if this team gets another crack they will make the most of their opportunities.

I wish the storyline was Brady going for his 6th SuperBowl (he should be).

But all I can care about now is that he gets the 4th and that's it.

I couldn't stand if all week it was about Ray Lewis and both Harbaughs and Colin Kaepernick. (All of them I can't stand).

But I'm confident enough that we'll win to know that won't be happening^.

Story lines I don't care for:

Kaepernick comparisons to Brady as taking a team midseason as a rookie to the SB
Harbaugh vs Harbaugh
Moss vs his former team
Anything to do with Ray Lewis
The Joe Flacco coronation

Story lines I could handle:

Asante Samuel blows coverage in a key play in another super bowl
All due respect to SF D line, but Vince Wilfork is THE Man
Kaepernik injured - its Alex Smith time
Brady surpasses Montana beating SF
Matty Ryan sharts pants on worlds biggest stage

I didn't want to see anything about Sypgate, unfortunately, I watched ESPN today and saw Marcellus Wiley call Belichick a cheater for taping practices. I called him out on twitter, and he went to the classic "tapes were destroyed" narrative. What a d-bag.

You often have to wonder if humanity's brightest are on display for all to see in the media.

Personal storyline I don't want to see:

Dozens of texts from my friends who are big 49ers fans.

Texts started coming in droves when the Pats were down 31-3 last month. Suddenly stopped at 31-31.

Regards,
Chris

And I bet they started up again at 38 - 31 didn't they?. Believe me when I say that I know exactly how you feel. I get a whole bunch of texts like that whenever the Pats are losing no matter who they're playing. I get them even if my friends aren't fans of the team the Pats are playing because I guess people just like to see the Patriots lose.

Thankfully though.... It doesn't happen very often. :D
