I wonder if he was hired on his ability to defer in overtime.

I think he was hired because of all the success he had with Vick and Vick's domination as starting QB and their powerful scoring offense.

....Oh Wait

hey, if he wasnt any good with mobile QBs; jesters fans can pin their hopes that he can be good with immobile ones.......like sanchize. :D

I don't know much about the new guy they hired as GM (Seahawks VP of football admin), but this is a really strong hire with Mornhinweg in my opinion.

Definitely not scared with how much ground they need to make up, but this is a step in the right direction. Marty gets a bad rep, but he's a really good OC. Just really hope they keep Sanchez haha

Vick threw 24 Ints the past 2 years...Sanchez threw 36 picks the past two years

Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire

Mornhinweg is a true WCO guy, which should scare every Jets fan if Sanchez keeps his job as starter. That type of offense relies on reading the defense pre-snap, making a quick decision, and throwing the ball to an allotted place on the field.

To be fair though, Sanchez has been doing that for four years now though, and is particularly excellent at picking out the dirt as well as opposing Defensive Backs.

But seriously, the Jets don't have the Quarterback and they don't have the receivers.

Watching the Jets try to play the West Coast Offense with their players will amount to the Cleveland Browns offensive LOLS.

Could the Jets now look to trade for, say.........Matt Flynn?

Perhaps, but I think they'll be strapped with Buttchez for next year. Maybe they'd be willing to pay $13 for him to carry a clipboard but I have my doubts. Besides, they only have about $20 bucks to pay for 40 players or something like that.

They could go WCO in '14 with a new QB. All-in-all, no one could be worse than Shades who they just fired.

You guys don't understand how bad this is for the Pats... Sanchez' inner eliteness is about to be unlocked, his "unlimited ceiling" is about to be realized... :bricks:

If Sanchez remains the starter in Jersey, anything that puts the ball in his hands more is worthwhile as a Patriots fan.
