Wow - - just was watching NFL Films replay of the Texans game from Sunday.

Has that been a call before - - or did they institute that one special for the game where Brady surpassed his idol?

That was weird to hear.

That's kinda cool anyone got a video?

That was pretty cool. But they only used it on that one play so far(that we have been shown). I have heard bama to so far.

It's was NFL net's replay of the game just now. Brady was mic'd, so I am sure there will be vid soon.

That was pretty cool to see. Wonder what Montana thought of that if he's watching.

That was extremely cool. Love Joe Montana, my favorite non-Patriot of all time.

We'll probably hear more of this in 12 minutes (10pm EST) when NBC Sports Net shows "Turning Point" with Tom Brady (among 7 others) mic'd up from last weekend.

I think it's pretty funny how BB doesn't react to any of the Pats touchdowns.

It's so awesome. The contrast with the other coaches jumping up and down and acting like damn fools is stark, to say the least.

Good lord. Anyone watching Turning Point? Ray Lewis in a sobbing heap at the end of the game, clinging to a teammate and saying "No one believed" over and over again. And over and over again. It was uncomfortable to watch.

Just minutes before the biggest game of his life, the 01 SB game against the Rams, Brady fell asleep. Just minutes after hearing Faulk's yammering, Brady feel asleep.

I like ray lewis but his farewell tour along with that jesus act has become too much. Even tebow wasn't that in your face about his ****.

I also find it funny how they keep calling themselves a team of destiny. It's an interesting contrast vs the 2001 Patriots team who took that kind of talk as more of an insult.

Someday the man has to stop and smell the roses, but apparently not yet.

Its all orchestrated . He knows the cameras are on him and the mikes are on, so he puts on a show.

I imagine there's a trade-off between:

  • Using the same calls over and over again, and letting opponents recognize them.
  • Changing calls up, and confusing your own guys.

Perhaps the balance is that there's an OCCASIONAL special call.

Which play was it when he shouted Montana?

The ultimate professional, acting like you've been there before......

Yeah. Given the results he gets I'm not complaining, but a TD seems to make him even grumpier, like he's thinking of all the things they did wrong on the play. I certainly don't want him to start emulating Pete Carroll's High School Cheerleader act, but I do wonder what it will take for him to crack a smile after a score...maybe the winning points in NO in a few weeks.
