Wow, this is the craziest story ever, if true. You better believe he'll be asked about it in the combine. Wonder how he'll respond to these accusations, as I think it could even impact his draft stock a little bit, considering his character has always been a big reason why he's so highly regarded.

They're trying to save face. From reading the story, it's pretty obvious Te'o and Tuiasosopo made the whole thing up, in order for Manti to have this tragic background that made him into an even stronger, more faithful and admirable figure. How the **** would you date a girl for years over the internet, without even meeting her once in this day and age? Especially a guy who's the most well known college LB in the country. Come on, now. There's absolutely no way he would've been fooled.

And how did he talk to her daily on the phone? And did he not even once go visit his DYING GIRLFRIEND? Yeah, there are too many holes in this story. Manti should just come up and admit he screwed up before he's grilled by NFL evaluators in the Combine interviews. This story will make a dent on his draft stock.

If he was in on it and all, how did he think he was gonna get away with it? So much wtf in this story. Tbh, I never even heard about his dying girlfriend(that now doesn't exist) or anything before I clicked on this thread. In a celebrity world that can find out what you had for breakfast 3 years ago, it's crazy to think you could get away with such a hoax.
