When talking with reporters Wednesday in the Ravens’ locker room, the veteran receiver was asked how Sunday will be different than last year.

“Because we’ll make it different,” Boldin responded.

How will they make it different?

“We’ll win,” Boldin said plainly.

Anquan Boldin: 'We'll Win'

We'll see come this sunday. Again idk why but i dont feel as stressed this week as last week against the texans. call me crazy but i feel good about our team. We've improved our team since last year. and well ravens have been the same or lost their top players to injury.
Don't get me wrong, its not going to be a walk in the park but brady would hate for the ravens to be the team that kept him from getting another ring. He's fired up, you know he's yelling at everyone on the team to come out and give it their all. Lets hope to see the pats in new orleans!

Can't wait to see his post-game presser.... :)

Eh, even if the ravens win on sunday there is no way they are getting a ring this hear, not if they play SF.

49ers would be a very tough game ( why i hope ATL wins). But i think the pats would be much better prepared than that meeting. You can count on that and a rookie in the SB..i know he has been lighting it up..but that's A LOT of pressure

That's the kind of thing that would never fly on a Belichick coached team, but it's also something I can't see how anyone would have any problem with.

They...just...can't...help...themselves...

HA! and if they win(which they won't) it will be because of Torrey Smith or Pitta, not Boldin-

player backs his team to win shocker.

Less talk Anquin.

Hmmm, this is debatable.

Sure, the 49ers have probably the best defense, atleast left in the pplayoffs but I think the second time around Brady wouldn't struggle as much. The quick thought would be that the Falcons are the easier out but if Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez don't scare the heck outta you.... Lol

I wish that beast was on our team. Total manimal.

Can't blame a guy for picking his own team, but we'll see ya on Sunday, Anquan.

If there's any good time to say this publicly in today's PC sports media era, it's before a one and done playoff game. What else would you say?

I don't have any problem with this. Players should think they're going to win, no matter the circumstances, because that's how competitors feel. It's different when players attack individual players/coaches on other teams prior to a game (Ex: Welker is not athletic, the style of offense the Pats run is cheap, etc), and players like Johnathan Joseph look like total buffoons when they trash talk AFTER the game, but going into it players should feel confident in their team.

Were people expecting him to say, "No, things will be the same. We'll lose"?

Were people expecting him to say, "No, things will be the same. We'll lose"?

Or better yet, get specific and start giving away exactly what they're going to do to make it different?

Nothing wrong with being confident and having faith in your team, just hate how people write these stories. Take this for instance:

Really?

In depth analysis there, Mr. Boldin.
