Fire away........

Yay!!!! :D

I want to give sincere kudos to Rob Ninkovich, who's come on very strong this season and has really been an impact player in a lot of games. Congrats to him, and congrats to the team for sticking with him. I thought he came into the year being a backup/rotational LB, and he's shown himself to be much more than that.

Again, props to the man.

The Official Patriots vs Texans Divisional playoff Post game thread

Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations regarding today's great win in the Divisional Playoff game vs Texans, on this thread.

Another AFCCG being played at Gillette. TFB breaking the all time playoff win record.:rocker:

Certainly glad the Patriots won for several reasons. But I can say that the ref's totally stunk without having it sound like and excuse. :D

man what a great game bring it on Ravens sorry Ray Lewis this is your last stop.

Going to be a good one next week. Hope ravens are tired out because if Flacco plays like he did yesterday it'll be tough.

Special team needs to get their act together.

Anyone else catch Chung almost f'up the onside kick?

But, but, but....I thought Tom Brady couldnt throw deep

1. Gronk gone sucks. Just really sucks.

2. The Pats didn't play anywhere near what they are capable of, but still handled the Texans fairly handily. That's fine by me. I don't want them peaking yet. There's plenty of room for improvement and things to work on, plenty of humble pie to be served up.

3. Shane Vereen came up big today. He finally showed what I've been expecting to see form him since April 2011. His 33 yard TD reception in particular was perfection, and showcased his receiving skills. Ridley and Vereen had 219 yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs - this team has the depth to weather the loss of a Gronk, even though it hurts.

4. ST coverage obviously was a big issue, and will be a huge focus for next week, especially with the dangerous Jacoby Jones.

5. The game shouldn't have been as "close" as it was, except for some very questionable calls, even by NFL ref standards. Embarrasing. Ridiculous, in some cases.

Re: ****** Unofficial Patriots v. Texans post game thread ******

Losing Gronk is a huge blow, there's no doubt about that. I still have faith in this team though.

Brady now has the most playoff wins all time. Arguement for him being the GOAT is getting stronger and stronger by the week.

If we're up by 2 or 3 TDs against the Ravens somehow with 10 minutes left, I hope we don't bring out the prevent defense again.

Shane Vereen..hoo boy, what a performance. Game MVP in my opinion.

We get to face the Ravens in Foxborough next week. While they have momentum, keep in mind they only beat us by 1 in their house.

I wonder what those Broncos trolls are thinking now?

If I were O'Brien, I wouldn't be putting up any new wall hangings. His special team units have been thoroughly underwhelming for 2 years now.

Im still laughin my arse off at SPikes doing the worm....

We better hope Atlanta wins...

Very true. The way that game played out, we'd probably have been looking at a bigger blowout this time than in the regular season if the special teams had held up their end of the bargain.

I don't want to see those refs again during the playoffs, they gave every close call the the texans. I'm especially thinking of the fumble that wasn't cause of the whistle and the TD that was six inches from the goal line. Oh and that fifteen yarder for delay of game was pretty ticky tack.
