Ray has one more week of football left.

Just one.

Very classy but cant help notice how this also helps him in the media like this

Manning classy as hell in defeat, waiting 8 mins for Ray Lewis to finish press stuff so he could tell him he's enjoyed playing against him.

When BB chooses not publicly shake JMcD after the game everyone crucifies him without knowing the facts.

If the NFL were to award me a franchise and I could choose any two players to start my team, would choose Ray Lewis and #12 ... a great leaders on either side of the ball, and unparalled intensity when the game is played.

"Congratulations Ray, you murdered us out there. HA HA just kidding. No wait, put the knife down..."

As much as I enjoy watching Peyton go down in flames, he does seem like a great guy.

I agree. As football fans I think it's natural to grow a dislike for some like Peyton because....

1.) Peyton is really good and we are fans of an opposing team
2.) The media OVER-EMPHASIZES his greatness. He is great and deserves props, but when it gets overblown it actually causes other fans to resent him.

All in all though, I agree that I do think he is a great guy. In fact, while his absence last year helped our Super BOwl chances, it was still quite obvious that there was something missing. THe NFL needs Manning, whether you root for him or root against him because he's so good, he is an important character.

I actually like PM, but not as this GOAT football god he is portrayed as. That's why I like it when he loses.

Peyton: Ray, I got the info on Brady like you asked.

Ray: Good man, I can't expect Brady to shoot himself in the foot like you do, know what I'm saying?

Peyton: Just make sure Brady doesn't get to the SB, all I care about.

It would be nice to go back in time and have made Ray Ray the Pats #1 pick instead of Terry Glenn particularly when you look at the WR talent that was picked up in the later rounds of that draft.

BB really liked Ray in the draft, I gather, based on the quotes about him being the best film student BB ever interviewed (w/ McCourty as #2).

And the personnel department that did draft Lewis was the one BB put in place in Cleveland.

Remember when Peyton Manning sat on an non-consenting woman's face in 1996?

USATODAY.com - Do you really know your sports hero?

Naughright's attorney says his client, doing her job, was crouching behind Manning to determine why he was having pain in one of his feet when "entirely unprovoked, Peyton Manning decided to pull down his shorts and sit on Dr. Naughright's head and face."

Court documents add graphic body-part details, which we shall omit because you certainly can get the picture.

The court record includes a letter to Manning from former Tennessee cross country runner Malcolm Saxon, who Manning said was the intended target of the so-called mooning.

"Bro, you have tons of class, but you have shown no mercy or grace to this lady who was on her knees seeing if you had a stress fracture. You might as well maintain some dignity and admit to what happened. Your celebrity doesn't mean you can treat folks that way."

Classy move by Manning. But those kind of moves should probably be reserved for classy opponents.

I wonder if Lewis will do the same for Brady after the Pats spank them.
